Must have boat tool for easier docking
Works really good for docking I don't have to use my arms to wrap around the posts anymore we'll be really good when it's windy. I recommend one if you have a boat also is good for pushing off other boats when getting in and out from docking

Nice alternative to just a line
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Easier for my wife to use on bow of boat. Line toss wasn’t always accurate. Never misses with the loop.

Must have for new boaters. Fits well in boat. Seems durable but be careful as tube is fiberglass. Nice and light.

Best of what is out there, but not quite perfect.
The loop makes it awkward to use to fend off from another boat or dock because it tends to get in the way and catch on things; but this is a very sturdy, well-engineered boat pole that you can extend and lock simply with a click. And the loop is great for grabbing a cleat if the wind is both blowing you off of your finger pier and making it hard to toss a loop of line around a cleat when you're coming in. I also own the Docking Stick and Landing Loop, but they tend to stay in the cockpit locker and the Boat Loop is my go-to docking tool instead. I would give it 5 stars if there was a means to snap the loop out of the way and back out when needed. Would also really like an eye on the inboard end to attach a loop of line so that it could be used in a pinch to spring in on.

I don't know what to say other than ....it's awesome.The loop is great....the two hooks are genius and it extendsThe only thing I would say is that I would get the medium or longer one plus the short one. AKA some scenarios you might need one with a bit longer reach.

Loop concept is great, but pole needs some design work.
The concept here is great - a loop instead of a line to help snag a cleat, especially for boat guests who dont have experience. And it does work well . The part that doesnt work is the extension mechanism. It is extremely hard to both extend and retract the pole. It makes sense to store this retracted, then extend when in use, but it is very hard to do both. They need to figure out a different mechanism for this.
