NURI Portuguese Sardines in Spiced Tomato Sauce - 4 Pack - (4.4 oz cans)

These are my new favorite tinned fish. They are very expensive but the taste is amazing. It is a very high quality fish and care was put into the packing. I love them.

I've tried SO many different brands of sardines over the years and I was never a fan of them....until now! These are delicious. Great flavor and texture. Expensive, but clearly superior.

These are the best tasting European sardines I have ever had. Flavorful without being funky. The texture is similar to a combination of tuna and swordfish. Expensive but will buy again.

After watching that one YouTube video of the factory, I just had to order these and give them a try as the brand is not widely available here in Canada. The same day they were delivered, I took a can out of the package and placed it into a bowl of boiled water before opening to eat. The quality of the sardines looked exceptional. They were firm and had no overwhelmingly fishy smell. The over-the-top grade olive oil, the sweet tomato sauce, and spices worked well together. I found it salty if I ate it by itself, so I decided to lay it out on toasted bread with some vegetables. I’m looking forward to incorporating the 3 other cans into a pasta dish or grilling them into tacos. Who would have thought of turning canned sardines into dinner? Nuri sardines from Portugal really are something spectacular!

Like alot of people here, I saw the Youtube video about the Nuri factory and came here and bought them. First off, these are, bar-none the BEST sardines you can buy. They are so far and away better than anything you can get at a grocery store it almost seems like a different fish entirely. Which leads me to the second point of even IF you have tried sardines in the past, Nuri sardines are so good you may actually change your mind about them.You are paying roughly $8.00 per can, but you can taste every ounce of that extra money. As to the spiced tomato variety specifically, you will be shocked at how rich the tomato sauce is and how much of a kick the spices give it. Juts an exceptional product, as one would expect after watching the video.

I tried the variety pack and liked this best. A little pricey.
