Do not buy
This model is simply not fit for purpose. You are told to read the instructions carefully before starting to build the model, but there are no instructions ,simply one A4 size sheet of paper with line drawings and tiny part numbers, some of which are printed on the plywood sheets and some of which are not. I started making the model but the materials are so thin that I am spending more time repairing the parts than building the ship. Avoid this model at all costs.

The instructions were poor and un discriptive i wouldnot recommend this product if you do not have any prior knowledge of model ship building.

A good challenge!
Decent model for the price! Not the best instructions, but easy enough to follow if you have good model knowledge. Yes, a lot of reviews say about fragile parts, but that’s the nature of the model, you can’t be heavy handed!Not going to be built in 5 mins! Will look good when finished.

Clear instructions
The lack of instruction made the plans hard to follow ..some wooden pieces are so fragile even though a model knife was used to ease them apart still broke...

Very thin pressed wood material. No box . Very poor instructions. shouts poor quality. Got this to make with my daughter very disappointed

Bought as a gift - they loved it
This was bought as a Christmas gift as an activity to do during lockdown, and they absolutely loved it. The detail on the model is fantastic, and finished it looks stunning. It was far bigger, and more impressive than I expected, really blown away by the quality of this product!

It was very difficult to build, but the end result is beautiful
The model's plan is worth almost nothing, the material is very thin, easily broken. I had to look for youtube help to make the masts and sails. The end result was pretty nice, as you can see in the pictures.
