it works for my inguinal hernia (MAKE IT IN BLACK)
I was going to give it 4 stars because of the horrible colour and I want it in a black colour, but people with a hernia need this product as it works well.I was using a thick leather belt and a sock. This work better and stays in place. It actually works better than designed as you can stick the velcro to almost any part of the item and it sticks well. There is a strap to put between your legs to hold it in place so it doesn't ride up, and again, with the velcro sticking to anything, you can place and tighten this any way you need. And, you don't need to use this strap when just walking around the house or sitting, which makes it more comfortable. It really has given me a better quality of life as I can move around more and bend down fairly well (the belt can be tight and inhibit movement).

Inguinal hernia? this is a relief
I have a small inguinal hernia but it gives me some dull aches and some annoying pains on occasions throughout the day. I'd considered a belt of some description in the past but for some reason I decided it wasn't worth it. After getting more frequent pains during my long day at work standing up and regularly having to put pressure onto my hernia, I decided to take a look at what options there are. I'll be honest now, I've done the leg work for you, I've spent hours reading reviews and sifting through various options and finally ended up buying one of these. Incidentally, two days later my 80yr old father bought one too on my advice). I've since bought another brand which was cheaper and for two belts. They look identical to this one but I'm so annoyed that they are nothing like this. I wear this to work every day. I'm fine driving the hour to work and wearing it for my 12 hour shift but I feel the need for a bit of space on my drive home and therefore remove it. It's actually more comfortable than I'd imagined and even the supporting strap between the legs is unnoticeable. I really highly recommend the investment if you're getting aches or pains from your hernia and find yourself having to put pressure on it. This does the job and I have no pain all day whilst it's on. It's also very well made and should last.

A Very Good and Essential Hernia Belt for quick and easy support.
You need to be a little bit fundamental when describing the advantages of inguinal hernia belts, so no offence to any accidental readers! This belt is ideal for use with a left-side inguinal hernia at night and around the house when relaxing. I will get another one for wash and wear because I depend upon it so much for moving around at night. The wide belt gives very secure support. Overall, very good construction. The stabilising belt between the legs could be a little wider and more robust. I take it off for night-time sleep, but keep the whole belt within reach.Because I am so active, during my workdays, I use the Neo G Double Hernia Support Belts which provide a very good overall grip on both sides my abdomen. But I particularly like the pouch and the oval pad that comes with this Everday Medical Company Belt. I sometimes use the oval pad with the Neo G Belt , that has contoured pads, by adapting the Velco. It can really prevent your lower intestines from bulging out at night when you get up to take a leak. Never jump up or remake the bed without putting your belt on! Things seem happy to stay in place when lying horizontal or in the foetal position and asleep. I've reduced the length of the L /XL belt to fit my 38+ inch waist and the next one I get will be the smaller S/ M size.I have very little pain from my hernia, only occasional heat-skin irritation from clothes. I'm trying to cope for the foreseeable future without the operation - dependent on trusses; the day clinic operation is not available anyway in Wales, probably for the rest of the year, due to the Covid Crisis. I've chatted with the consultant. But I've got special mobility problems and responsibilities in the short term. When the NHS, and me, are more settled, I'll probably go for it. Thanks for everything, NHS folk! You are doing a Sterling job for us all! and thanks for the truss belt!If you want to know what it's like coping with an inguinal hernia - ( which can emerge later in life after being born a premature baby - according to some medical reports - which I was - well over 70 years ago - during WW2), watch the film "Cat Ballou" for how the gunfighter "KId Shellen" is got ready for action, by Cat?- without any of his previous alcohol intake though! (I wish Cat Ballou was around to look after me - Just kidding, I'm getting plenty of help!)Stay Safe and Stay Well - to the best of your Abilities!!!

Good and bad.
Well made, comfortable when worn but, I found the pad supplied far too big and obtrusive. Have had to use pad from older belt to suit.

It helps
It lets you walk about and bending over to pick things up with no problem and if you put it on before your hernia comes out it will hold it in till you take it off

Helps enormously and gives you a confidence boost.
Told by my doc to change my job or go private to get my hernia repaired as I will be waiting at least 6 months to have a consultation at the hospital then probably 2 yrs for the operation, unless I become an A&E case. 🤬Really disappointed with their attitude. But this belt allows me to carry on with most of my tasks in work.

Immediate comfort and relief from pain.
This belt does exactly what it says. Immediate comfort, relief from pain, protects your hernia, and it`s easy to wear. My hernia was making standing and walking very uncomfortable and painful. As soon as I wore the hernia support belt it allowed me the the freedom to move much more easily and without pain. You can easily adjust the tension in your belt which allows you to wear it in a manner that suits your hernia on how it feels on the day. After using this belt for a couple of days I decided to buy another belt to guarantee never being without one till my hernia injury had been addressed and overcome. I`d easily offer it 6 stars if only I could.
