I love these sconces! For the price of $56 each, it's perfect. The light bulb size is E12, so the listing is wrong but not a big issue because there are E12 bulbs at the local hardware store for backyard string lights. Those 11watt E12 bulbs were perfect for these sconces. The bulb socket are well centered! Lovely glow! (We used painter's tape to line the edges of the light shade during installation to avoid scuffing the wall. We really appreciated the white gloves that were provided with these lights!)

This is a great looking sconce! works will with our decor and installed easily. Choosing the right bulb is a trick, the bulb holder is too close to the center line of the sconce, so when an LED bulb lights, the glow is way off center. I went with a low watt incandescent, but the orb is still off to one side. I may have to modify it some to get the glow it deserves.

This is a gem for the price - I put it in my historic craftsman home and it is looks excellent in the hall. Craftsman home highlight the materials and skill used to create a home, and value a simple grain over fancy molding. But with that, they can run a little to the plain side. Details like this light (which would highlight the skills of a glassworker) are what make a craftsman home shine and stand out. Would work well in other styles of home, too, such as a mission style. Was easy to install, and uses one standard bulb, & gives good lighting.

The picture of the illuminated fixture (first picture) is misleading. In reality, the single bulb is not centered under the shade and the illumination of the shade is very uneven and asymmetrical. That marketing photograph must have been done with external professional lighting. Obviously, all marketing photographs are carefully crafted, but for a light fixture accuracy in such photographs is important. We bent the bulb mounting bracket to at least achieve symmetrical illumination, but the installed fixture is still not nearly as attractive as the photograph. In fact, we can clearly see the bulb through the white panes of the shade.

As other reviewers mentioned, the lighting is off center. I had a contractor install it and only the right side is illuminated, the left side is noticeably dark. It looks nice, but decided not to purchase two more as planned. Do not recommend.

I bought two and I love them. I noticed in reviews that many buyers were unhappy with the uncentered socket. That has not been a problem for me because I only wanted very soft lighting for my stairwell. I installed nightlight bulbs and that is perfect for what I wanted. They are sturdy and well made. I can't address installation because I had someone else do it, but the installer had no issues.

Bought 6 and they look great!!

Lighting within this lamp is uneven... bulb puts most of the light to one side of the fixture... ruins the appearance.
