Feels and plays great! Love the buttery yet snappy clicks.
I loved my Logitech MMO mouse deeply. I've burned through two of them through the past 18 years playing World of Warcraft and everyday computing. However, Logitech discontinued manufacturing the mouse a while ago, and finding one that isn't used is very hard to find. I finally had to look for something comparable from another manufacturer. There are very few manufacturers that make a side-button MMO mouse nowadays. The first one I tried was from Red Dragon. While good, it gave me hand fatigue. I still have it, it's a good mouse, but I decided to keep looking.I picked up the Corsair's Scimitar because of the good reviews it had received here on Amazon. I can honestly say that reviews are accurate, the good and the meh. Mostly, this is an excellent mouse and I highly recommend it. It fits my hand better and the clicks feel so good. The software looks sharp, but it's dorky to use. I am not a fan. Yet, I managed to stumble through and make it work. If there's a roadblock to successfully using the Scimitar mouse, it's the software. I don't like it. It's not intuitive. The mouse itself is excellent. The adjustable sliding side buttons help to find the sweet spot for my thumb to be happy clicking away without fatigue. The click feels GREAT. I honestly fell in love when I made my first clicks. I can't explain it but it feels great! Buttery yet snappy is the best way I can describe it. After several weeks of raiding with the Scimitar, I can honestly say I love this mouse. No regrets.I'm thrilled to have found a great replacement for my old Logitech MMO mouse. The Scimitar by Corsair is fantastic to play with. It's snappy and responsive. I have no problems to report other than the cool-looking but non-intuitive software needed to re-program the buttons.

Productivity boost and an excellent Accessibility tool! (Great for gaming, too :P )
I'm now on my third Corsair SCIMITAR mouse in 5 years, so why the 5 star review? Because when it works, it works REALLY well. I tried using a Redragon and even a no-brand mouse, and, the difference is just night and day in terms of software support, to wit: Corsair iCue actually does what it's supposed to do.People like to rag on iCue and Synapse, and, yeah, Synapse I've found to be less usable than iCue (even though iCue has a higher learning curve), but iCue saves your profiles per application. This means you can have your entire Photoshop or DaVinci Resolve workflow bound right under your thumb. These mice aren't just for gaming, and if more people realized that, they'd be a *lot* more common.Story time! I use mine primarily as an accessibility aid, as I am legally blind. So when I'm not using it for workflow things or actual gaming (I play World of Warcraft and Final Fantasy XIV and it's a game changer, literally!), I have it set up so that at the touch of a button, I can zoom in or out using Windows or Linux magnifier software, I can activate either an on demand screen reader to read what's under my mouse, or in Firefox activate the ReadAloud browser extension (Ctrl+P or Ctrl+O to start/stop respectively). The extra buttons are set to various media controls (Play, Next, etc.) for convenience.Did I mention that iCue automatically swaps profiles depending on what application is in focus? So if I'm playing World of Warcraft for example, I alt tab out to check Wowhead and iCue intelligently swaps to the Default accesibility profile. When I switch back, it goes back to my game specific profile. Same for editing photos or video, or audio in Reaper (I wear many hats!)My advice: get it, but get the 4 year protection plan. It's an extra $13 for the peace of mind that, if it does only last 2 years (like my last two, but to be fair they were not the "Elite" version) then you can get it replaced for free and get another 2 years. And if it lasts longer than 4 years, that's a heck of a deal for under $100 for the productivity and gaming boost!

Near perfect - I've been so happy I just ordered my second one
Hands down the best gaming mouse I've owned. The sad thing is that gaming mice don't last long anymore. I just ordered another one after about 1.5 years of use. The scroll wheel started doing the stuttering so many people report and it became too much of a problem to keep using. I like this mouse so much I'm willing to keep replacing it every time it goes out, and honestly, good luck finding a gaming mouse that doesn't have double-clicking or scrolling issues after about 2 years these days. I like the shape and feel of this mouse, the side buttons are adjustable so it's a perfect fit, and the clickers have a very satisfying click. It has a very soft yet grippy feel to it. I dare say it's perfect if not for the wearing-out issue that's so common with gaming mice.

Solid mouse, software is a pain
The mouse feels solid, and the thumb buttons arent hard to position. My main gripe is that the software is a pain to setup. Rebinding the buttons is not as simple as Logitech's G600 mouse's software which let you type in or press they key you want to use. Requires multiple steps to rebind a single button. Overall though, the weight is ok and the scroll wheel is mediocre. For the price its fine, but i would have been happier if they had added removable weights that you can add or remove at this price point. If i had to rank mice, i would go Logitech G600 > Scimitar > Any Naga (cause they self destruct after 6 months and their software is bloated)
