A little beep goes a long way
So we are still less than a week in with this collar but I wanted to write a review now and I’ll update as it changes. We have two chihuahuas, one of which is quiet, the other suddenly started barking at EVERYTHING about two months ago when dogs moved in across the hall. We have since moved and now live in a quieter apartment but this one has floor to ceiling windows. The dog would NOT stop barking at the boats and seagulls going by, to the point where he was hurting himself because he would trip over himself out of excitement. We tried every kind of positive reinforcement to quell the barking but nothing was working. We decided we would try a vibrating collar as a second to last resort and if this didn’t work, we would speak to a trainer. The barking has all but stopped. We are still getting used to it, and trying to figure out how to include positive reinforcement with the buzz as well so he doesn’t become afraid of boats/birds/other dogs/etc. But so far it has been amazing. If he does bark now, it’s a single bark and then the beep makes him stop and he walks away from the stimuli. He’s like removing himself from the problem now. It’s unreal. Now he sleeps calmly in the windows unbothered by the boats all together and rarely notices birds. We use it for a few hours at a time, like when he’s in the room with big windows with us or outside sometimes walking. Only when we can see him do we put it on him.He was really confused at first and got really sad when he first got beeped. He put his tail down and slumped away. But now he’s getting more familiar with the sequence and less scared after the beep. It’s more of a reminder for him now to stop barking.I’ll update if/when anything changes!

I have two terrier mix dogs that have a barking issue that had been getting worse. The younger one stopped barking within a few days of putting this on and I have since taken it off and she still doesn't bark. But the older one doesn't seem fazed by the beeps or the vibration. When it does vibrate she will just scratch the collar and then continue barking. It must be true that you can't teach and old dog new tricks! May have to go for something a little more shocking but I really don't like the idea of using pain... discomfort ok... but pain doesn't thrill me. I got one of those invisible fences that shock the dog when they get too close to the buried wire and I accidentally tested it on me and wow... it hurt!

After only 3 months, doesn't work at all
This collar worked just fine for my little barker. At first... then after 3 months it doesn't work at all. I did change the battery, although I've had to use it sparingly. Now I get no sounds, no vibration, nothing. I reached out to the email address on the box and came back undeliverable. Waste of money. Obviously no custmer service either. Don't waste your money.UPDATE: I guess the seller read my review, contacted me and immediate sent out a replacement. I haven't tried it yet, but am hopeful. At a minimum I appreciate the effort by the seller to make it right.

Chihuahuas are evil.. even mixes
I really can’t tell you how well this works long term, I can only speak to how it holds up to the little beasties. I didn’t notice any decrease within the first couple of days, but it must have been irritating at least, these two aptly named gremlins (mogwai and gizmo) teamed up to remove it off of our resident bark demon gizmo’s neck.. who decided to then shred the collar bit and utterly destroy the box. This dog, if you can call him that at this point, isn’t even a chewer, didn’t before the collar and hasn’t since. Also I am the world’s worst procrastinator as I bought this thing over a year ago and decided to just review it now for some reason.

Heaven sent...
OMG, I have 2 mini schnauzers, one is 6 yrs and the other is 3 years old. The 3 year old is very yappy with the slightest stimuli...can be frustrating sometimes. Well I always researched different ways to attempt to train and stop the barking, nothing worked. Any who, I read over this product and decided to give it a try since it only vibrates, no shocking. OMG, heaven sent! I sized it and placed on her. I rung the doorbell, she barked 2 times then it vibrated...she ran to her kennel. I acted like I didn't notice anything. So, I rung the doorbell and knocked, she reacted the same way again. The 3rd time, she did lower toned woof, not a loud yappy bark. The next day, hardly any barking, she didn't get vibrated. Day 3, which is today, same as day 2... Sizing was simple and easy, placing battery was easy, battery time length I am unsure right now, and very simple to use. This was much needed, I am headed for a family vacation in 3 weeks and do not want her causing noise issues in the hotel...I am so happy with my purchase.

Working like a charm!
We have a 5-lb yorkie/chahuahua mix. This fits him great & came with 2 batteries. It's a little chunky but he's tiny. The collar is good quality. Our dogs bark is so shrill it hurts your ears and you cannot even have a conversation once he gets going. He'd even nip if you tried to restrain him while he was going nuts (person at the door, for example). Not anymore!! We are using the collar combined with training and incentives (treats for obeying command to stop barking). He now pays attention to verbal commands (no bark, shhhh). We thank him for an initial alert (like a package delivery) but then tell him to "shhh" or "no bark" and he stops! He will whimper a bit because he's dying to bark but he has done great controlling himself. It was especially bad when we had guests but he has done great with that also. Now we can just show him the collar and he'll chill out. It only took 2 days of escalating beyond the warning beeps to a vibrate (no shock and we operate on level 4 out of 7). It went off a couple of times wrongly but it hasn't caused issues. We only put it on him when he is supervised and during times of prolonged barking is likely. I cannot say enough how thankful we are this actually worked!
