Easy to use and charge, arrives with a bit of power but I recommend fully charging a battery before using it. Easily fits into the surface pen. It's simple, it works, you could probably use other battery charger stations too if you'd rather charge more than one at once.

Like most people with a laptop or tablet with a pen, they need AAAA batteries to operate. I would buy a four-pack of batteries and by the time I'd need another battery, the three in the package would be either nowhere to be found or not fully charged from being in a drawer for many, many months. I read the reviews for these, and most people seemed happy with them, so I gave them a shot. Charged them up with the included charger. Tested them with a battery meter and noted that they weren't completely charged, even though the blue indicator light showed them as charged. I finished them on a stand-alone lithium-ion charger. Everything is working fine.

I purchased this awesome little guy to use in my pen for my laptop. Since they use aaaa batteries, when they die they are hard to find replacement. With this you just plop it in the charger.The initial charge took about 1.5 hours. The charge is small and easy to use. I also believe you can charge other NiMh batteries with it. Not just aaaa which is nice.LED indicator is bright enough to be seen but not so bright that it may be distracting to some people.Solid build quality and works as it should.

I'll preface this by saying I thought before buying this may not work for my pen. It does work, but sometimes my pen will randomly stop getting a charge from the battery. Non rechargeable AAAA batteries are typically 1.5V, these are only 1.2V. They work nice in a pinch, but can be frustrating when my stylus randomly loses connection. Charger works good, just be aware that there is a chance the batteries aren't reliable for your device.
