Good
This is for thinning oil paints. Oil paint to use on canvas. This is good depending on what it is for. I used it to experiment. I though it would smooth & drag color of ink pencils or color pencils. It works on both but it leaves oil on the paper. Canvas artist use it to thin oil paint. It takes several hours to dry. I have no experience painting on canvas. One would not want to use it on coloring pictures because of the oil residue. If this is used the way it should be, it is a good medium.

excellent flow and consistency
After several years of trying countless different linseed oils, I finally found this oil to give your paint a nice, even 'flow' while not thinning them to a watery, too loose consistency. Whether I mixed this with another medium or solvent, the oil maintains its quality and has given good results in my painting. I have always found it difficult to strike just the right products to help me achieve the painting effects I wish, but this brand of oil has solved that problem. The low price just adds to it's superiority, making it a definite worth to try.

This is a good price
Compared to the "art" stores, this seems to be a good price. The product arrived in a timely manner and was well packaged. I am a beginner in oil paints and watersoluble oils and this should work with both. If it does not I will update this review.

Gamblin Refined Linseed Oil
It is an excellent product. I have used it a few times to thin some oil paint when it is too thick and I need to have it more fluid. I have not used any other similar oil yet and I cannot make a comparison. Hogan

This was a Christmas gift to my husband. He is satisfied. WHAT I DON'T LIKE IS THIS REVIEW FORCING ME TO WRITE A SPECIFIC AMOUNT OF WORDS AND WASTING MY TIME!!!!
