Great Reel
I bought this as a 48th birthday present for my son. He has fished a lot over the years. He said nothing when I gave it to him. We were with him and his family in Minnesota for fishing/boating fun. One time out he caught a 3 lb walleye. After that he told me great reel! From him that means a lot! I can give no better recommendation

Very solid construction
Great reel once you get used to no reverse looks beautiful but more important is the smoothness of function and that is great.

Too small
Beautiful reel with zero stop bail and smooth drag. Reel was smaller than I needed and the handle was better than the after market handle I also purchased.

So far, so good.
Paired this with a 7' St. Croix and I think I'm in love. Very smooth reel, nice casting. Will update when put to more use.
