Is it easy to use and how much does a can cover?

Very easy to use it covers the arms of my couch and three cushions but I do it at night and that way it can it dry overnight

Anyone know if this can be used on washable fabrics? Will this need to be re-applied after machine washing?

I used scotch guard on a white hooded sweatshirt when I was 18 years old. Now, 13 years later it is still bright white. Only applied scotch guard that one time and I've had coffee, ketchup, chocolate, mud, etc without any visual stains.

This may have been answered before but anyways, should this be safe for furniture labeled cleaning code S?
