Whirlpool American Fridge Freezer 40W T-Click Lamp Bulb

At the 4th attempt I finally received a working bulb so finally I was happy I could illuminate my refrigerator.The fact it was not broken like the previous orders was maybe more luck than anything. The common factor on each order was the fact (in my opinion) that the manufacturer Whirlpool (wpro) does not use sufficiently strong packaging for what are quite large bulbs; they use a flimsy thin cardboard box. A seller might purchase for example a box of 20 bulbs from the manufacturer and be fine.Once you take a single bulb and put it in a lightweight padded envelope for postage, it immediately becomes more vulnerable to damage. On this last occasion, although the box was distorted, the bulb thankfully survived. I have already reported these issues to Amazon but we also need the suppliers to be more wary.

The bulb was a good price compared to others I found. It was delivered very promptly within 24 hours. I have no complaints.

Cost effective and promptly despatched replacement part for the failed bulb in the 'fridge side of my SMEG 'fridge/freezer. Easy to fit ... once perspex cover of light housing removed!

This bulb is super bright and easy to install. However, its' now the second bulb I've been through in less than 2 years. Considering its a fridge bulb, the longevity is far less than I had expected
