I was blown away by how much work I got done with this little $20 saw. Expected it to be all cheap plastic and enough for the one job I needed it to do, but this is a real tool. It stood up to 2.5 inch thick treated wood, making circular cuts. With a fresh blade, the cuts felt like butter. The included blade is pretty good quality too - it lasted longer than the ones I got at a local hardware store. That said, you're gonna need a couple blades!

I am elderly and I needed to put a hole in a piece of plywood for a project. This saw was so easy to use and it did the job. Thank you

I am not a power tool guy. My only power tools before this had been a hand-held drill (from 1980) and a hand sander. But I needed to put two cat doors in our house and needed something to cut the openings in our solid-wood doors. The same day that this saw arrived on the front porch, I managed to cut openings in two doors with no issues. (Well, no issues with the saw, anyway. Given my limited power-tool skills, I ended up adhering to the "Measure once, cut twice" rule. But that's my shortcoming, not the saw's.)The price and quality of this saw impress me. For around $15, this saw comes with everything one needs for the small job. I wouldn't know a professional tool if it hit me in the head, but I assume this tool would not be sufficient for continuous or long-term use. But for the occasional quick project or repair job, this one does the trick. I even bought a set of additional blades for wood and metal (which cost almost as much as the saw) and already used the saw to shorten a metal pole.For the price, one would be hard-pressed to find another saw that even comes close to this one.

I've used this a lot over the years, for a variety of different functions...not just a jig saw.

I was using a small hand saw before I gave up and decided to see how much a jigsaw would be. I’m amazed at the price, and this product has saved me so much time and is easy to use. I had a little trouble figuring out how to put the blade in but eventually got it. I guess there’s a learning curve (haha I’m also learning how to cut out curves, I’ve been terrible at it so far) but definitely a smart and affordable purchase.

I honestly expected this to not work well given the price. To my pleasant surprise, this thing can hold its own in my workshop. The lower speed settings are pretty useless, but if you set it on a 5, this little dude slices through plywood like butter.

"Maneuverability" is a function of the blade, so I give "average" (3-Stars). Versatility? I assume it does what they all do. Accuracy, not perfect. I have to twist it a bit to the left to get it to go straight. I bought it because my last one broke from using it in over-stressed circumstances and I needed something quick. I needed to keep my budget from being more exploded than it already was, so I got the cheapest name-brand item.

This tool was purchased to do a quick job needed for repairing my home. It is very limited with no features but it is very inexpensive. Good for very basic cutting. Gave i to my son after I finished the repair job. Delivery was prompt. It was purchased to replace a much more expensive saw I purchased which died after four minuits of use.
