DRIFT MANIAC Bicycle Tubeless Rim Tape No Tube Strong Fiber Wheel Tape,22mm Width

Purchased this to fix a "professional" installation made with a different product that was deflating some 2 weeks after installation. Due to the lockdown, I was stuck to either not using the bike or fixing it myself. This band is really easy to use and seems solid. Since it was long enough, I did two passes on a single wheel (mine are a bit wider) and still have plenty to spare. It hasn't deflated since a few months back when I installed it. Good value / quality balance.

Very good product works really well

Brilliant, I’ve struggled with no stans mic off tape (too stiff to seat easily) and gorilla tape works but I always wonder about long term as it’s not specifically developed for the job. This stuff is the best of both worlds - flexible and seats really well, has a very plastic feel to it so confident it’ll keep the good gunk in. And you get 20m so can double it without worrying about running out 😀

This is nice strong rim tape for tubeless conversions. I wrapped twice around for a road rim and gravel bike rim as the pressures are higher. Item comes as a 20m roll so there is plenty for a few wheels. It's easy to apply too.

Quite difficult to use but if you can do it it is worth it. Quote from my hubby. I noticed he only ever did his bike and not mine. It is fiddly.

Great value far cheaper than stans

Without waffling on too much, this is by far the best rim tape for tubeless conversion that I have tried. Beats Stans rim tape hands down, much easier to apply, tougher and only requires a single wrap to seal up the rim nicely. Excellent

Originally wrote a good review for this product however, it’s failed after just a few miles. I kept getting flats due to the tape coming away from the rim and air getting into the holes.I always wrap two layers of tape very carefully around the rim (see picture). Three times the tape came away when riding! This is obviously down to the poor performance of the product as it happened less than 5 miles after leaving home each time.I bought rim strips after getting so fed up with this tape and they’ve been superb. Recommend everyone having trouble with this tape to try that.

Il nastro sembra funzionare la tenuta e buona anche se il cerchione era un po’ datato in parte graffiato.facile da applicare.

Il nastro è MADE IN JAPAN e le scritte in Giapponese.Utilizzato per sostituire l'infimo nastro montato di serie sulle ruote di una TRIBAN RC500. Dopo aver utilizzato questo nastro, finalmente sono riuscito a montare A MANO dei Panaracer Gravelking 700*35 (TLC pieghevaoli) su questi cerchi notoriamente ostici (prima del cambio nastro non ero in alcun modo riuscito a dar salire i copertoni). Montate sia con camera che successivamente tubless. Verificherò la tenuta nel tempo, ma il nastro era perfetto per la pista interna dei cerchi della Triban. E' più rigido di un Gorilla Tape e si posiziona facilmente.

Montaggio andato per il momento bene su di una ruota. Ruote nuove, sgrassato il canale, applicazione del nastro senza particolari problemi. Sull’altra invece, ha dato dubito problemi. Smonto e controllo: in più punti, il nastro ha ceduto l’adesione, facendo fuoriuscire aria e lattice. Tolgo il nastro… un incubo: rimane una colla impossibile da togliere, che si impasta con ogni solvente. Prodotto vergognoso
