These are great! The colors are useful, each sheet has a protective cover sheet so they don’t get messy.They come with a tracing tool which makes this super easy to use, leaves a great chalk mark that comes off easily, and simply priceless to someone making clothes!

Works well
I purchased dritz (I think wax free) originally and it didn’t work at ALL. This tracing paper works VERY WELL!!! just wish each pack came with many more sheets. Highly recommend!

Does not wash out!
This product claims to be washable. Unfortunately, I found out the hard way that it is not. Only after I ruined one of my projects.

The original "waxy" marking paper
I haven't needed any of this pattern tracing paper for at least 20 years and was surprised to see reviews saying most of what is currently available is "chalky" and doesn't produce visible, lasting marks. So I tried this out, even though at the time I bought it there were no reviews.I'm happy to say this stuff works great, just like what I remember from the old days. There is a nice 5-color range from white to dark green. I was able to produce strong marks on both pattern pieces at once. The package (mostly in Japanese) claims the marks will wash out, but I haven't tested this yet.

No instructions in English.
There are no instructions in English, only in what looks like Chinese. Fortunately, I have enough experience to know how to use it.

Makes pattern transfer a breeze!
I have never used this kind of transfer paper before, and I was so pleased to find out it was quite easy. The pattern comes out very crisp and doesn't smudge. So far I have reused the same sheet many times without problem. Marks well even on dark fabric. I use it for small projects -- I guess it could get tiresome for a large pattern.
