A favorite from my middle school years
Even though I've read this many times when I was young, I still enjoyed reading it as an adult. It still made me smile and cry.

Emotional
This book is obviously sad, though the title is slightly misleading. Obviously it follows a girl who has leukaemia so it was never going to be a light read. That being said it is also not as depressing as I thought. It mostly focuses on friendship, understanding and hope. Also Dawn's mental image for her body fighting the cancer is the best I've heard.
