Everything I needed in a comb!

This is a great comb... it's expensive but well worth it. The teeth are smooth and don't catch in my fine hair. I did finally break one of the teeth after perhaps 15 years of using my comb. While it's absolutely still usable I'm happily replacing it with this same comb.

I have Afro-textured hair and I was on the hunt for a comb with wider, larger teeth so that it can detangle my hair without damaging it in the process and I found it in this comb! It's just the right size for a comb, is excellent quality, and rinsing hair products from the teeth is a breeze as well. If your hair is thick and/or has a tight curl pattern to it, then you should strongly consider this comb!

I bought three of these combs for Christmas present and one for myself. After my comb started loosing teeth, I asked the recipients how their combs were holding up and every one of them has teeth missing on their combs. The picture shows what happened when I packed my comb (that already had about 3 or 4 teeth missing) in a zippered pouch in a suitcase. I can’t imagine why it lost an addition 6 teeth (nothing else was damaged) but I wanted to post the picture as a warning. I did purchase a new MP comb and also replaced MP combs for my gift recipients. I went with the “detangler” model this time. I hope they last longer. Disappointed because they’re supposed to be high quality.

I really like this comb its very helpful I have long black Thick hair and this helps me a lot untangle all of my hair very sturdy and I think its a good value for you money I definitely recommend will be buying another one soon.

My first Mason Pearson Comb I bought in Germany in 1984, I had it until 1997 until I borrowed it to an acquaintance in a Restaurant, the next morning I couldn't find it in My handbag and I never saw the lady anymore, in 1998 I went to Italy and I found another one, this one I still have, but it's always in My handbag. I have long curly hair, and I suddenly realize that they are getting frizzy, so I checked My comb in the bathroom and notice that they have seem inside, so I thought, " now that We have the Internet it shouldn't be to difficult to find another Mason Pearson Comb to have in My bathroom," Boy was I glad when I saw them here, o.k. the price is a bit high, but they are totally worth it, and I never had one where the teeth broke, anyway the Company stay behind their product, so if that ever should happen, they would send You a new one. I'm very happy to have another one, and Goodbye Frizz
