Easy to install, comfortable on the back and easy to sit on....Ive never understood why all seats were not padded, probably a manly thing. Ive had NO issues with this product, its made well, lid doesn't slip or slam down and Im amused with reviews saying it doesn't last a long time. For the sake of sanitary purposes, maybe its a good thing you replace a $22 item more frequently instead of dinging it review numbers, the cost is certainly reasonable enough to change every six months to a year. If you are looking for it to last longer, I dont want to use the facilities in your house. Looking for a comfortable seat, this is it. AND I didnt get one free or reduced for this review...I dont do that.

I’ve been using Mayfield padded toilet seats for several years. They are easy to install and are comfortable. My only complaint is that they have become very expensive and the foam padding they use seems to break down too quickly.

This is my second Mayfair soft toilet seat. The first one was round and outlasted the toilet It was on. I started using this type of seat because it's comfortable, very well made, easy to clean because you can take it right off in about two seconds and it goes back on Just as quickly.I was impressed by this brand and started buying this kind of seat because it not only looks good but is heavy-duty and the parts can all be replaced very easily. I got tired of buying toilet seats where the hinges broke easily and you had to throw the whole thing away because there were no replacement parts, etc. and to date, I can say that I haven't had this problem at all with this seat or the one that preceded it.It's a very comfortable seat and has a good amount of padding, I'm a big guy and it's comfortable for me. The padding and its cover are holding up very well, clean easily, and seem to be very durable. I plan on buying this brand again should I have the need for another seat in the future.

This seat is super cool. I recently got a new potty and the seat was killing my bony butt! This is soft and so much more comfortable. Plus it was unbelievably easy to put on. I mean my son did it for me with zero issues. The quick release allows you to pop it off and clean it so easily. We have had the seats that go down slowly on their own and loved them. We have dogs who think toilet water is yum! We always keep our lid down. Now this one isn't the auto, slow close but because of the padding you can just flip it closed. It will go faster but makes no bang or seems to be hard on the seat. I'll definitely buy another when I need it.

That being said, this one is no different than others I've had. Also we have 3 bathrooms and they are used by different people and they always turn blue/purple. This never happens with hard plastic toilet seats, only the soft ones. It's unlikely everyone in my house has chromhidrosis, and besides that, wouldn't it also turn your clothes colors when you sweat? We don't have that problem, only the blue/purple toilet seat stain. Also none of us are pregnant. So there must be some other explanation, I don't know what. That being said I don't care much about the stain, but when it starts to crack and tear open then I have to start thinking about replacing it, and that's about every 1 - 2 years. Sucks, but like I said I've had this issue with every cushioned toilet seat I've had.

I bought this after spending an insane amount of time on the toilet with a 36 hour flu. I will spare you the details but I thought I might die, I fainted multiple times while sitting on the toilet and puking into a trash can - it was horrible. My old toilet seat was not going to come back from this, it just needed to be thrown in the dumpster and/or burned. I bought this new seat because it's supposed to make cleaning the toilet easier, which is something I appreciate on a whole different level now. It actually works - you just twist the two knobs and the whole seat comes off, then you can bleach the toilet and clean it real good before putting the seat back on. And, in the event that you need to clean the seat, being able to remove it helps in that regard too. It's comfortable, the quality is good, it holds my 265 lb. ass up, and it makes cleaning much easier.

Bought this for our son with special needs who is currently potty training. This seat is soft yet durable enough to not crack. However, Time will tell. We’ve had it on for about two months and it’s still in great condition.

Die Lieferung dauerte lange, weil per Schiff aus den USA geliefert wurde, aber gut und passend, die Toilette hat eine besondere Form und ist schon einige, bzw. viele Jahre alt und es war super, daß ich überhaupt in dieser Form den Sitz original von Bemis bestellen konnte. Freue mich sehr darüber 👍

the product is actually very comfortable (or at least so far)...easy to clean and works for exactly what i needed it for. I needed it to work with the versa frame to assist my husband in getting on and off the seat and it works for that and to give him some additional comfort! it is tricky to install IF YOU DON"T read the instructions so just ensure you do. (i guess that's what they are there for :-) )
