Can was full of dents
This product is delicious, I have bought the fillets many times. Price was about $5 initially and has come up quite a bit. However, it tastes so good that I still buy it as a treat once in a while. The only disappointment this time was that the can was totally banged up -on all sides. The content was ok, but we ate it with some apprehension. This probably happened during transport so we still considered it safe to eat but Hopefully they pack it better next time. Otherwise, buy without hesitation. Tastes amazing.

Best canned mackerel
I found this product years ago while on a trip. Could not for the life of me remember what it was called. So I went and tried a bunch of other brands of canned mackerel and none tasted as good as this. The price is a little high in my opinion. But the taste is fantastic. It’s a very nice treat for yourself in you day off or as a midnight snack.The mackerel is very tender and you can definitely taste the mackerel fishy taste in it unlike most other brands which tend to leave bones or crusty on the edges.And the sauce is sweet and tomatoey, perfect match for the mackerel.I wouldn’t mass buy this product due to the price but it definitely is a great treat for every once in a while

Damaged Can
This can arrived dented on the side and the seal was broken - unusable product at that point.

Not quite like the Norwegian stuff though perfectly OK
Compared to the Norwegian version, the tomato sauce is more like tomato flavored oil with less tomato flavor, and the fish is a little more dense though otherwise fine. There's nothing wrong with it but it's not what I remember fondly. I think I'm going to try a few other brands before I consider getting this again.

GREAT TASTE
I love smoked mackerel and this was no exception...Sauce tastes like homemade....I ate right out of can, but next time will add to pasta...

Impossible to find in stores!
Hard to find where Im from.. Very Much enjoy this. Toss on Bread with better.. very great decision. Will buy again!
