Westland20100396 Hydroleca Clay Granules, 10L, Natural

I use leca to propagate my cuttings and add to custom mixed potting soil. You get so much in this bag, absolute value for money and a versatile product! The size of the leca balls varies from small to large but I personally don't mind the irregular appearance.

Good product, clean and great drainage

Three days too late so bought on pack from B&Q as I needed it quick. Good product, seller shipped it right away but as usual royal mail screwed it up.

Used to prevent tiny fruit like flies, was sceptical. However, after repotting my 16 orchids, adding the clay ball topper has worked and adds to attractive appearance in their glass containers. Long may it continue.

The media could not be loaded. First time I use it, I am learning. It looks good.I used the recommendation from the citrus soil packaging I bought and I used these clay granules at the bottom of my lemon tree when repotting, before adding citrus soil.Then I added these clay granules on top for decoration.

I have used this product before but always bought it from a garden centre. This was my first order through amazon. Good price. Hydroleca is excellent for moisture control at the bottom of a plant pot (I put a layer of 1-2 inches at the bottom of the pot, then add my soil/substrate on top). Always make sure you buy pots that are free draining/have holes at bottom.

Its a very good clay not alot of dust when washing generally quite clean pebbles.

Saw these in the garden center and was going to buy them...then I saw the price. These are exactly the same brand and product for half the price. Clay granules are a wonderful potting medium for growing plants aquatically, or just rooting cuttings before putting into soil. Or indeed for orchids.
