I was gifted a Mon Ami ballerina, and love her long, elegant look. So then I went to Amazon's Mon Ami shop, and found this gorgeous Polynesian Princess. Love that she is different from my ballerina, and is such a unique style and color scheme! She has the long, lean look that I love about my ballerina, but this Polynesian Princess is dressed befitting her royal status, with a sparkly yet soft, longer tulle teal-ish blue skirt, pretty little glittery slippers, and a golden "body suit" with matching golden flowers in her beautiful, brown wavy, upswept hair. She even has a sparkly lace "choker" around her neck. Her skin is a slightly darker shade than my ballerina's, appropriate for a person from Polynesia, and I love how her golden bodysuit extends down her arms to a 3/4 sleeve length. (My ballerina has "bare" arms.) Even this princess's eyes are different -- arching upward and "smilingly" closed, with the cute heart-shaped pink lips characteristic of the brand. This doll is truly special and, in my opinion, worth the price. She looks graceful "holding court" displayed on a bed, or would be a thoughtful -- and I'm guessing, much appreciated -- gift for a slightly older child who treats things nicely; maybe 5 and up.

I absolutely love them, I purchased the smaller one for myself as well. They are elegant and beautiful. I wouldn't give them to kids though, I got my granddaughter a brighter color one. I just love them though wouldn't change a thing about them

Perfect gift for grand daughter's Bday!!

Such a pretty and lovely ballerina doll with very long elegant legs and pretty outfit and hair design. And I like the pretty colors combo of this doll and her outfit. It has soft thread hair style and a pretty sparkly headband. My daughter takes ballet classes, so she was very excited to get this doll. We have even given it as a gift to two of her little friends for their birthdays. And they enjoy playing with it too. The doll is very soft all over however, designed to look very graceful and elegant just like a ballerina :)
