Non-greasy and fast-absorbing
This is a great sunscreen for the face. It goes on dry and does not leave a greasy film. It absorbs quite quickly. I like the small packaging which makes it easy to carry around in my bag to reapply throughout the day. I have very sensitive skin but I tolerate this sunscreen well. I have not had any problems with sunburn while wearing this product. I would definitely buy it again.

Best facial sunscreen I’ve tried
This worked way better than I expected. I have oily skin and this actually mattified and did not become oily at all throughout the day. Did not make me break out like most sunscreens do. I wore liquid mineral makeup and powder over it and it layered on just fine. Also, miraculously, it does not sting your eyes! Wore it all day in sunny pool/beach conditions in Hawaii and never even had a hint of a burn. Great product!

Pretty good! Easily absorbed.
After trying a couple of “must try” sunscreens that we’re meh, I didn’t have the highest of hopes but have been pleasantly surprised. The texture is not too dewy or that gripping, forced matte some sunscreens try to be. Unfortunately, it did take me about two weeks to realize I wasn’t using enough of it, but the (sun)damage had already been done. So be generous! I was scared for how little comes in a package I could try to make it last, but since it is straight up fluid, you actually get more applications than if it were a lotion. Bonus, it’s easy to carry in your purse or even pant pocket for reapplication, it’s so small.Wears well under cream, liquid, and powder makeup- gels take a bit more work to work into the skin though. Not exactly holy grail for me, and I’ll most likely throw others in the mix, but I’ll definitely keep this stocked.

Great for sensitive skin
This is a liquid mineral sunscreen (active ingredients titanium dioxide and zinc oxide) which is the only type of sunscreen that my sensitive skin tolerates. I also have rosacea. It was recommended to me by my dermatologist as other sunscreens make me break out. It is very liquid and you need to shake the bottle vigorously and then pour a little in the palm of your hand and then spread it over your skin. You don't need much, a little goes a long way. I wear it over moisturizer and under foundation, but on occasion I have even put it over foundation when later in the day I needed to be out in the sun. Both ways work great. As with all mineral sunscreens it can make your face a little whitish, but not nearly as bad as others I have tried, and with make up over it that shouldn't be a problem. It doesn't make my face as shiny as other sunscreens have. I wear it when I swim laps, too. It is a tiny bottle but don't let that fool you, it is so liquid you don't need much. Easy to take on the plane too. I can't recommend this highly enough and hope that Neutrogena never discontinues this.

finally, no smell!
This is one of the best sunscreen for face I have ever used. In my opinion, this is on par if not better than Shisheido's sunscreen but for a fraction of the price. It's not oily and it doesn't have that horrible sunscreen smell. It's easy to put on in that it comes in a liquid form making it very spreadable and even on my skin. It's consistency is actually very similar to Shisheido's emulsions! What's more is that the the packaging is fairly small and easy to carry. I can sneak this into any purse in case I'm out in the sun for a prolonged period of time and need to reapply. I like to wear this under my make up and it does not have any negative interactions with foundation or blush. I highly recommend this for everyone.

Excellent!
This stuff goes on easily and doesn't feel greasy at all. It almost feels a little chalky, which I find very refreshing. It doesn't sting or burn when it runs in my eyes, and it doesn't sweat off. The only drawback is that it leaves a faint white tint, so I put on some bronzer over it. It's marketed as being perfect under makeup, and I agree it would be; I think it would make makeup stick rather than run off, but I haven't tried it with anything to know for sure. I only use it on my face because of the price, but overall I'm very pleased with this, and will buy it again when I run out. I definitely recommend it!

Good for sensitive skin, but weird texture PLUS comparision with Banana Boat Natural Reflect
I've been looking for the perfect affordable sunscreen for my sensitive, acne-prone, somewhat oily skin. Chemical sunscreens make me break out, so I've limited myself to physical sunblocks. This sunscreen is a liquid (as expected), has no scent, and has a somewhat grainy texture. Kind of like very fine sand mixed with milk. I can't really comment on its sun protection as I didn't test it on any long days in the sun, but it does seem good for my sensitive skin. It didn't cause any breakouts as far as I can tell, and only stings my face a little. It leaves a moderate white cast (hard to avoid with physical sunblocks). My main complaint is with its texture. When trying to blend it into my face it balls up like an old sweater, leaving little white thread-like things all over my face. When it dries it often leaves my face looking flaky. It is not greasy at all. I've been told that the balling up might be due to a reaction with some other facial product that I use, so it may work better for others.I also recently bought Banana Boat Natural Reflect physical sunblock, to compare. Both these sunscreens are similar in price, though the Banana Boat gives you slightly more. The Banana Boat is much thicker than the Neutrogena and also much greasier. It has a kind of traditional sunscreen-like smell. Both leave a similar white cast. The Banana Boat seems to sting the skin around my eyes more, but also hasn't made me break out. Compared to the Neutrogena, the Banana Boat goes on much easier, and has a nicer texture with none of the weird balling or flaking effect that I got with the Neutrogena. I would probably choose Banana Boat over this Neutrogena product, but I would not recommend the same for someone with very oily skin.
