Once the first plate of warm food was put on the mat, it curled up, and with further use, indents appeared if a bowl of soup was placed on the mat. These were a disappointment. They will not be used for future Christmas holidays.

These placemats are a heavy duty foam, easy to clean and stay in place. So much easier than trying to wash cloth placemats every other day!!! Only wish they had more designs to offer so I could buy multiple sets to use every day of the year! The 4 stars is because I had a very hot cup of tea which caused a ring indentation on one mat which has not come out.

The picture looks good, but one of the place mats was printed off centered (see pic). They are a bit thick, so they take quite a bit of room.

These are very nice quality. They are thick and withstand heated items. They do not slide around table. The colors are subtle and have a "country" look. It is simple elegance in a vinyl placemat.

Don't put anything straight from the microwave on it...it will leave a circular dent on the top of the placement. I'm sure they stay great if you load up a room temperature plate with your food and then use it. I think I'll stick to plastic, reversible ones. The pattern is as shown, but I was hoping it would have some brighter metallic areas, that perhaps weren't showing up on the computer,

Just good enough for one holiday season. Doesn't stay flat after one use

We really like the placements but we ordered two sets (4 in each) but one set only had 3 placemats in it.

Love these place mats.....good thickness of mat, stays in place on hard surface or tablecloth.
