Q: Is this a genuine or original Dell laptop charger?

iI think it's a copy. But it's very hard to tell the difference. The only difference I noticed is the quality of the wire that plugs into the electrical outlet. It is of very bad quality

Q: Is the input to the equipment 7.4 mm?

I don't have access to the charger to measure the connector, as it is being used elsewhere from my physical location. I didn't order it based on the measurement; I got the P/N from Dell for the specific model and serial number of the laptop, then searched using that P/N. The charger was correct for our Precision laptop - searching on the OEM P/N is how I would always source a replacement.

The connector size to the laptop is 7.4mm indeed; as the description states.
