Silicone Straws! ✅
My daughter aspirated on thin liquids the first 3 years of her life! We started using these at 6 months old. And mixed with take and toss cups it was literally the only thing that helped her drink her drinks without aspiration!

Great for straw chewers!
Squeeze nicely into Tervis cup lids and don’t get destroyed by my sons’s chewing. Great buy!

Not Bite-Proof
Decent product, but my 4 year old easily bit the top off one of the straws and could be potential choking hazard.

ATTENTION PARENTS: Buy these!
My 2 year old was chewing through straws like crazy on his weighted straw cups, so we switched to the disposable straws. After realizing we would single-handedly destroy the poor earth by the fast pace at which we were going through them, I came on here to find some silicone straws. These are amazing! Parents: they fit perfectly in the Munchkin weighted straw cups - both sizes! - as well as Nuk cups. I quickly rinse with the cleaner brush before I toss them in the sink and then put them right in the dishwasher. So far they’ve been very durable and my little one loves picking a color each time!

Everything we purchase destroys our world, but at least these aren't plastic, right?
I remember the first straw I used. I was at the zoo and my mother was studying a bear; she'd recently contributed to a paper on circuses and that and was still fascinated by circus bears. To capture my attention, she bought me a coke and the vendor stuck a straw in it once she saw how young I was. He shouldn't be drinking straight from the spout, he said. My mother was already gone, immersed in bear. Me, I put my mouth on the straw and suckled. It was so sweet, so pure, I sucked harder and it went down my throat. I felt drowned. I have never come up for air.Last night I went on a date and it was good, I suppose. We got a drink and I asked for a mai tai and it came with a plastic straw and she said, straws are destroying the world and you should bring your own and she brought out these Reusable Silicone Straws for Toddlers & Kids and handed me one. I said, that's true of everything and I pointed at her cell phone and her leather shoes and she flushed and I don't know if there will be a second date. I'll try though. The straw was excellent, though, and I bought my own.

Perfect for school milk cartons
I work with elementary students with autism and these are more than helpful for the milk cartons and my student can't destroy them like the other reuseable plastic straws.

Actually straw-sized!
I've purchased silicone straws once before, a few years back, and they were a joke. HUGE. Like drinking from a firehose. But now that our kid is older and absolutely loves straws (and refuses to drink water without them), and coinciding with a chance encounter with a poster of a turtle with straws up its nose, I decided to try again with the re-usable type. These are PERFECT. They are 1/3 shorter than an average straw, which is great for us because she is using 1/2 size toddler cups both at home, and that is also what restaurants typically give her. So I always have one of these in my purse (in a reusable bag, for the same guilty reasons) to pop in her water so we don't waste a straw. She loves picking the color of the day for her water cup at home, too. :) The opening is narrow enough, just like a typical straw. I've put these in the dishwasher a few times and haven't noticed anything bad happening to them.
