Worked great with our cat
Worked great on my wifes feline wrecking machine. Put it on one of his favorite scratching spots. He tried to scratch it once, stopped, and walked around shaking his paws. Have installed it in all of his favorite spots, and he doesn't even try to scratch those places anymore. A little goes a long way. Just use enough to cover the worst of the existing scratches, and they will avoid it. Barely used any of the roll, and protected multiple "hot" spots. Sticks to wooden surfaces well, but can be pulled off for adjustment without damaging the finish. The only negative things I can say are that it was rather hard to unroll the tape for installation. IIt is firmly attached to itself on the roll, and the end is hard to see. Its pretty tough, so it needs to be cut, and sticks to scissors, or knife, while trying to cut it. It also sticks to itself if it bends during installation. Does not do well on carpet.Over all, its a very good product, and has definately protected our house from further damage. I highly recommend it.

Works on curious cats who like to explore things they shouldn't
In my opinion, this is the best tape to keep cats away from scratching furniture. They scratch near it and if they run their paws over it, they get annoyed by the stickiness of the tape, which keeps the cats away from ripping up my couch!

Tasty
Worked as advertised. Cats didn’t scratch the furniture. One of my cats decided to chew and lick the tape. Furniture is intact and they haven’t tried scratching at all but the tape lost the stickiness from being licked and chewed.

it works well
The tape attaches very easily. The problem was, removing the backing to expose the tape. There were no instructions to help with this. However, I finally succeeded in removing the backing with the use of very fine tweezers. My cats have stopped scratching my sofa since the tape is a part of it. In fact it works so well, that I find it to be somewhat shocking when I accidentally touch it. Great product!

Stickiest Tape
It does the trick - the cat is staying away from the couch, however it is so very sticky that you have to carefully remove or it can pull the fabric. I learned the hard way! Stuck to a thread the was already pulled loose and then puckered the fabric. Might try a different tape that is less sticky next time or leave the wax paper in specific areas so as to lessen damage.

Great product!
The value for money is great! New and old cats have not touched the couch! Could have used this 9 years ago when I adopted the older cats! The spray works for one day, but this has been on for a week! Unfortunately, people sit on this arm of the couch and always get their pants stuck! But it hasn't come off! There is not much stretch in the tape but it still works awesome. It is a like packing tape thickness. I totally recommend this product! You can't even tell it's on there unless you sit on the floor like I did to get the picture of the light reflecting off it! 2nd picture I am standing up! Can't even tell it's there!

Don’t try it!!!
OK, it does not stick to fabric furniture. When trying to apply it to the arms of a chair, it kept sticking to me and not sticking to the fabric. That’s the first problem.I bought this to stop my male cat from getting on the kitchen counters. He actually got up on the counter and opened up a cabinet door and pulled a can of cat treats out. I watched him on video. After applying the tape, he jumped up and immediately jumped off and so far has not tried it again in the last two days. You say wow that’s great. It worked but he started getting onto a different counter that didn’t have the tape on it. It’s really hard to cook and prepare food when you’ve got tape all over your counters, but here’s the bad news. The tape was horribly hard to get off of the kitchen counters. It pulled up, but it left a ton of sticky gunk. I went through a full can of WD-40 trying to get it removed. Right now my fingers are crossed that it didn’t run my kitchen counter.Don’t try it. I’m just gonna stick with the old tried and true method of making sure there’s nothing on counter that he wants. (I tried foil and he walked across it like it was nothing.)
