Liquitex Professional Matte Super Heavy Gel Medium, 946 ml, beige

This was recommended to me by another artist and it certainly is a game changer for creating 3D texture in art pieces. I'm still getting used to the texture and learning the different ways I can use it for my sculptures and art. Be aware that it is fairly transparent/translucent when dry, so adding a bit of acrylic paint to it will make it more opaque.

Easy to use in my different art projects. Just wished the pot was never_ending.

I have never used this medium before and used it to create the base for a lemon and it was perfecttttt!!! So easy to use, not dry get but I applied it very thick. Very fun to use and you don't need to be an expert just a fun medium to play around with :)

I like thos matt medium. First time to try any kind of a gel medium. It's good

LOVE this gel medium - it is matt with a satin finish but still a little key to it. Not keen on the feel of it afterwards but i varnished over my collage work with a satin varnish. It is non spill and odourless. It flows on to chipboard, wood and card / paper very well but you need to ensure a smooth flat finish with your brush or it will dry with streaks of white gel medium with the transparent look your wanting.I wouldnt use it on big pieces of work but smaller cut outs and other types of media. The gloss is better for larger pieces.Great pot size and opening is good for all brushes and sponges. Ive already used my gloss and matt up and ive only just bought it. Will be back for more. Highly recommended - dont go immediately for the most expensive makes - not always the best :-)
