Good value for money.
The product is built to a good quality and does exactly what it says. It is great value for money and is good for watchmaking.Pros:- Adjustable lenses to allow for additional magnification.- Lightweight and comfortable to wear.- Good, robust build quality.- Adjustable LED lights allow for more functionality.Cons:- The outer retractable lens, requires you to get quite close to an object to allow it to focus correctly.

Useable and versatile
Ok so for the price I wasn’t exspecting much anyway, can’t say I’m pleasantly surprised either but certainly just a little bit with the ease of use. flips up and down nice and smoothly and there’s a third lense that pops up/down inside for super fine magnification such as watch or jewellery repairs(which incidentally is the main reason I brought it) adequate light which moves to various positions including up and down but also side to side,so you can have it central but also move it to the same side as the circle loupe when checking find things suchThe only downside I found with this is the headband is very plasticky it does fit snugly but soon becomes wet with sweat so I have to wear a sports head band for it to be comfortableOverall worth the money

OK
Get what you pay for and this performs adequately for my amateur clock repair work. The lenses are "ok" with quite a lot of aberration using the loupe but manageable. Headband adjustment very clumsy and I had to modify with a self-tapper to fix the right size. The led light is well positioned and can be swivelled left/right as well as tilted. Best of 3 types I tried.

Just as it is advertised
Although it doesn't cost a lot, this headband magnifier is well made and will last many years (if looked after). The weight increases if the detachable light with batteries is added. However, this is explained in the Amazon advert. So if you require the light, then it isn't quite as comfortable as without the light.I needed something to take the place of my reading glasses (for computer, tablet and phone) which did not rest on the bridge of my nose because I have just finished a course of radiotherapy on my nose. Therefore my glasses were uncomfortable resting on my nose. These were cheap enough for three weeks of use, until I can use my glasses again.Of course I will use it for close-up work in the future - so it won't go to waste.

Pile of TAT
I cant beleive the amount of good reviews for this device...Lets start with the good points... There are noneIt's made out of very cheap plastic and no quality in the build whatsoever.the lenses are plastic with loads of inperfections (this affects the viewing quality)Mine came with a missing head band lock so I was not even able to tighten the head band corretlyI would not recommend this item, it is worth £5 at best..I have returned it for a full refund.

Good for the price but better out there
These are excellent for modelling, the magnification available is great and you can go to seriously close up/fine work.Unfortunately, they do have issues (in my opinion)The headband is either to tight or too loose, even adjusted they seem to either slip or feel uncomfortable especially across the brow, i think these might cause a headache after use but not affected me personally. The lenses are fine but to increase magnification you have to fiddle about to pull a “drop down” lens over the first and then if you want further, you only have a single “close up” flip over lens... now this sounds finikie but when doing the modelling i do its can be irritating to have to remove the headset just to increase your vision on the piece you are working on.The above said, they are well made, adjust easy (head-strap) and are lightish, after half hour you need a break as the band will dig/bite into your brow. For the price a good bit of kit7/10

Very cheap, but it works
Bought for fine detail painting of minatures. This is a cheap product, and it feels like a cheap product. That said, it works. I've been using it for several 4-5 hour painting sessions with minimal discomfort. It fits well if you take the time to get it in a comfortable position. (I take a larger hat size, so no problem for bigger heads). The lenses are not anything to write home about, but for minature painting they are more than good enough. The only real down side is the strap that goes around the head is very thin plastic, so can have the odd sharp edge...I've lined mine with some padded tape ( the kind you can use to wrap tennis racket handles etc) to make it just a bit softer. The extremely light weight though is an advantage when wearing it for several hours at a time.I've not tried the buil-in torch as my painting area is well lit, so didn't want the extra weight of the batteries when I don't really need them. All in all, it's fine for what I need. It feels cheap and a little flimsy, so wouldn't really want to speculate as to how long it will last. But given the price I'm not going to complain as I wasn't expecting something intended for professional use. This was bought to primarily to see if this design of aid was going to suit me, and it does. In the future I'll probably fork out a little more for a more sturdily built example of this, but for now I'm happy with it.
