Well its good enough for the Drill Sgt.....
My husband is a drill sgt and usually drinks a cup of coffee a day so caffeine is nothing new to him but isn't so new that you would think this coffee would pack a huge punch. The first day my husband had this coffee he was on battalion Staff Duty, basically a 24 hour shift where sleep is not an option. One cup of this coffee kept him awake from 0400 that morning to 0500 the next morning (i have the text messages of spasticness to prove this claim). Besides being able to see words, run a 5 minute mile to the company and back to staff duty, chew out privates at lightening speed that they couldn't figure out whether to be in the front lean and rest, parade rest or if they could simply say yes drill sgt when he took a short breath. This coffee was euphoric to him that he was also unspeakably happy, a smile and all was on his face the whole day when he finally sat down. Now when he came home at 0830 he had yet another cup of this coffee in his Death Wish Coffee mug I had ordered for him. Welp, thanks to Death Wish Coffee I believe sex has reached a new high, it was like being screwed by the Gods and the energizer bunny, you would have thought it wasn't going to stop, but eh, I didn't want it to anyway. Needless to say we will be buying more, we love this coffee so much we gave some to the neighbor who is usually a grouchy old man but is now sh*ting rainbows and glitter and will be buying his own.Point is, it is a good cup of coffee, and if you do not have a high tolerance to caffeine then this will definitely make you feel like you are on speed and give you a great high. You will also use the toilet quite a bit too if you are the type of person that coffee runs right through. For me personally, it gave me a small buzz but I usually have 2-3 cups of coffee a day so do not take my experience to speak for its strength. It does have a wonderful flavor and is not bitter at all as some would think with a strong cup of coffee.

Worth Every Penny.
Where have you been all my life????? And what else is in this coffee besides coffee?? I'm convinced that my coworker and I were high AF after drinking this stuff Thursday morning (not that I'm complaining). Within about 20 minutes of drinking our coffee, she says, "I feel something.... Some kind of way..." I nodded in agreement and said, "I know... I can read your mind!" About an hour later, we're minding our own business, sitting at our desks, and she bursts out laughing. Out of nowhere. I turned and asked her, "What's so funny?" She looks at me and says, "Nothing! I'm just happy!" WTF? Ok, well, Cool! Hours later, I look at her again, and she has the most somber look on her face. I'm thinking, "Oh, God.. It was too much for her-- she must be sick! How do I explain this to my boss??!" I pulled her aside and asked her if she was alright, and with the most serious look imaginable, she says to me, "No, I'm fine....I just.. want more...." This stuff is smooth and rich. Not bitter-tasting like most bold coffees. We expected a hard crash, but there wasn't one. It was a very gradual decline. Strange, but satisfying. Don't drink this stuff too late in the day. I had my first cup at 7:00 in the evening before I sat down to do homework. Got in bed at 10:45 and fell asleep at 4:30am (only to wake up to a 5:30am alarm), and the last thing I remembered was being chased around a shopping mall by Pennywise the Clown yielding a machine gun, on a motorcycle. It was terrifying. But I brewed myself another cup of coffee and had no problem staying awake the rest of that day! You're gonna love this coffee...

Do you bleed black? The Best Coffee in the World
I don't do a lot of reviews... but after seeing some of the stupid one star reviews, I definitely had to throw one in. I've seen a few one stars because people were sent the wrong product; I've ordered more than a dozen times... (both directly from DWC and from Amazon) and I have never had a problem (I bet a few of them ordered the wrong thing to begin with... yep, that comes from my customer service background). Every time I order, I receive my coffee within 2 days. As far as taste goes, Valhalla Java is the greatest coffee that's ever come out of my Keurig. I don't know how to describe it except that it has a ton of "coffee" flavor without being bitter. I love strong coffee with extra cream and extra sugar (so, I guess I bleed tan rather than black); most coffee made in Keurigs winds up tasting deluded after I destroy it with my cream and sugar, but Valhalla pulls thru. I've also seen some bad reviews around the "regular" Death Wish Coffee... claiming that it isn't very strong; Freaking DWC never claims to be "strong" tasting... only highly caffeinated, which it is (read a description!). When I'm trying to cut back on the cream and sugar, this is my go to coffee... heck, I've even made it my dad's favorite coffee. And for those folks who gave it 1 star for not working in the new Keurigs... 1. They never said that it would, and 2. that's Keurig's fault for not wanting us to use non K-cups in our machines. Well, they do in fact now work in the new Keurigs and there was an easy work around to get the older cups to work. I was able to walk my dad through it over the phone. I definitely recommend that you give this coffee a try... it is a little expensive and that' why it is my "Saturday and Sunday" coffee only, but it's worth the money and the DWC company folks are a cool lot.
