Its a hands down steal!!!!
I would recommend this book to all biryani lovers...it's also a must for all who loves books. Clear, precise instructions and lovely pictures. Ms. Karan Anand has done a fabulous job, like her other book.

Best recipe book for Biryani!
I have been looking to buy this book since ages! In fact, when it came out, there was a column in Brunch magazine (published with HT newspaper) about this book and 3 recipes were published in that column. Me and my mother have been following those 3 recipes and have made great Hyderabadi biryani a lot of times. So when I saw this book on Amazon, I knew I had to buy it. I love this book, and I'm trying out a new one this week. My only gripe with it was that a lot of times, the photo of the biryani pictured along with the recipe is not of the said biryani but some other generic biryani. I felt a little annoyed because I like seeing how my dish is supposed to turn out if everything goes well. Other than that, the publishing quality and the book itself - which starts with a nice detailed history of biryani itself - is perfect. Will recommend it to every biryani lover.

Biryani - a cookbook worth buying
Excellent book and very easy to follow recipes. Even amateur cooks will not have any problem following the instructions. I particularly like the fact that the recipes have been organised regionwise. Great to find many lesser known recipes.

Good collection of recopies across India
Good book as a documentation of recopies across India , however I feel like its missing the details and finesse required which can make a good biryani to best one .Some more details like selecting rice m marination time and science behind it along with some details regarding spices would add extra value .

A must buy for every Biryani lover
A must buy for every Biryani lover...authentic recipes, have tried a few and each has come out delectable. Some do have complex steps but then Biryani is not a Pulao!

Brilliant and comprehensive book
An encyclaopedic collection of Indian biryanis. One of a kind book. Her other book on Hyderabad cuisine is the gold standard for referring to Hyderabadi recipes.

Good book
Wide variety of biriyani’s.. I do however feel a few more pictures would have helped. Glad to have purchased it though.
