My wife bought a toenail clipper from the pharmacy in the grocery store where we shop. The price was too high and the store charged her for two clippers, so I took the clipper back and got our money returned. I told my wife I could do better on Amazon. After research, this kit looked like the most for our money. I was right! The toenail clipper is larger than the ones my wife got at the pharmacy, and has easy to grip padded handles. It's extremely sharp, so be careful, but the cutting head comes with it's own little slip-on hard case. The kit also comes with a nice, average sized fingernail clipper and a whole bunch of tools for digging and prying nails, including a cool mini puller for slowly pulling up the edges of an ingrown toenail (you soak the nail first to soften it!). The included nail file is really nice, sized larger than most so it fits a larger hand like mine well. All in all a great kit for the money, and I would especially recommend it for men with larger hands. There's even a tool included for skin blemishes such as blackheads.

The ingrown toenail corrector seemed really cool at first, but the hooks on the side are really small and tend to dent/rip my nail instead of propping the entire nail out. I think if the hooks were wider/flatter, this could work better. I tried it on large and small toes, and I can feel it expand the sides as to open the nail from an ingrown state, but then it just breaks into my nail shortly before the whole nail can be propped out. It's not painful by any means, the pressure distribution of the small hooks versus a nail just doesn't really work since nails have layers and can be stubborn.I really like the tool for cleaning under the sides of the nails, I actually use it to prop the ingrown portion of the nail out for removal. This made the kit worth it. If the ingrown is difficult, I'll use the cleaning tool to shove cotton under my nail until it grows out naturally.

Okay, first of all, please don't be dumb. If your ingrown toenail is oozing, veiny, gnarled and black-crusty, etc. etc., don't go prodding around with this stuff -- go see a doctor. It's not worth an infection.But in my case, I had an ingrown toenail for over a month, soaked it every day, but it was still red and puffy and hurt to walk, warm to the touch too so I figured an infection was brewing. Without insurance, I was facing a $400 podiatrist appointment + possibly antibiotics so figured I might as well spend $12 to try and save myself the trip.HOW are these tools only $12? I swear these are professional podiatrist's clippers - they're heavy, easy to use, and it comes with like 6 other tools. They're all well-made, clean, and useful. I didn't quite figure out the little medieval toenail lifter device, but after using Dr. Scholl's ingrown toenail softener thing ($9) and then going in with this tool kit, I saved myself the doctor's visit. Toe looks and feels normal at this point!Even the BOX it comes in is handy and sleek-looking. This is seriously a fantastic product. It really validates using Amazon as a doctor (wisely and sparingly!) to take care of minor issues sometimes. Even if you end up going to the doctor, I would STILL advocate buying this kit just for general toenail care.

For the price, this has proven to be an excellent pedicure kit, as well as an excellent value here on Amazon Prime. It includes everything one needs and seems to be of decent quality.

This tool really works! I purchased this specifically for the little crank tool to lift the sides of my curved toenail. The other tools that it comes with are great quality too, having the other tools makes fixing ingrowns super easy. The little crank tool is great, although the metal piece that lays flat on the nail bed is not attached so be careful. This doesn’t bother me nor does it change the effectiveness of the product, I saw some other reviews complaining about that and saying it’s unusable because of it. I would recommend placing the little crank tool on a dry toenail and crank it tight but not too tight, then with it on soak your whole foot in hot water for 5-10 minutes. When you take your foot out of the water, crank it a little more and let your whole foot dry before taking the tool off. After that you can use the cuticle tools and clippers to clean up the nail. Super effective and would recommend!!

The media could not be loaded. looks promising and i love the info guide in the packet. BUT - my scissors arrived with nicks in the blade (and the whole reason i got this kit was for the scissors). i do not think it will affect the function of them though.

I have been hobbling for several weeks with an ingrown toenail on my big toe. Soaked my foot in hot water for fifteen minutes and then took a few minutes and a little pain to dig the toenail out and snip it off but almost instant relief after. This set had everything needed to do the job. It is worth many times what it cost just in pain relief.
