Great price for a high quality multi-sensor bluetooth thermometer that really works. If you feel like it's a little too good to be true for the price, don't worry, it really is good and the reviews confirm that. The software is well designed. The home unit charges fast, and it charges the probe -- and both have good battery life. I only recharge it maybe every 3-4 times I use it.I've used it probably 10 times now. I would use it for chickens, roasts, maybe casseroles. For an expensive piece of a meat like a rib roast, it's really nice to have all the sensors so you can really be sure you're not overcooking.Just like with any thermometer, you have to use it before you get comfortable with what the temperature readings mean to YOU. I wouldn't use the temps that I use for my instant read since it's a different kind of probe and I use it differently.The time remaining estimate seems to work properly and is pretty accurate. I still use my instant read to confirm internal temperature, but if this estimates 30 minutes, that's a pretty good ballpark for how much longer you have to go.

The app is easily set up and straightforward! Used the first time last week to smoke a 7lbs beef back ribs/dino ribs! They turned out phenomenally! I was able to adjust and monitor the temp probe from over 5 miles away while it was connected to my home WiFi. Extremely accurate temp probe but does use the lowest average temp sensor as the thermostat determines final cook temp.

Very happy with this unit. Compares to my 2 other more expensive brands at about half the price. Great features such as multiple temperature zones and time to end cook. I have used on steaks, chops and chicken with great results on all . Bluetooth works well and unit has information on its own screen if you need to use the phone for something else.The only feature I would like to have (that no one has) is a setting for reverse sear with two temp settings, one for the indirect temp to tell when to switch to direct sear and one when cook is finished. It's a great unit very happy with it.

Works great inside a small air fryer! I have a large air fryer that allows me to use corded thermometers through the door seal and I love the control it gives me. For quick meals, I use a small 2.6 qt Dash air fryer and wanted something similar. This thermometer fits in the basket and works wonderfully to the charging station. Since I'm never far away from the air fryer and all I need is to set the temperature alarm, I haven't bothered with the app - but it's perfect for my needs. THe display on the charger unit is easy to read, it has the temperature range I need for air frying, and is accurate again freezing and boiling water. It's also a breeze to clean. I don't know how they got the battery and electronics to work in that heat, but it's worked great for a dozen meals. It's a great buy!

only used a few times but works really good and it is proving to be quite accurate and fairly easy to use/ only complaint no instructions came with it so had to go online for info.

I grill and smoke food a lot and I’ve had many different instant read, wired probe and remote monitoring thermometers. This is my first fully wireless meat thermometer and I can’t recommend it enough. It really is a game changer for monitoring your food from just about anywhere and ensuring it’s cooked perfectly.The initial setup was very easy and just took a few minutes. The food probe connects to the base unit using sub-GHz wireless which has a very long range and low power - much better than 2.4Ghz Bluetooth. The base unit then connects to WiFi and/or Bluetooth to your phone. You run the app on your phone so you can monitor from anywhere as long as your phone has cell service and the base unit is connected to WiFi. If you are somewhere without WiFi you can use Bluetooth.I tested with the probe in my heavy stainless steel grill and walked around my entire acre property and to the far end of my house in the basement and never lost connection between the probe and the base or the base unit to WiFi. You really only need to leave the base unit near the cooking probe and can monitor with your phone.It terms of use it couldn’t be easier. Turn on the base. Remove the probe and insert it in the meat. You can then set the desired temperature on the base or your phone. It automatically keeps graphs of temperature and even estimates when the meat will be done, but this really only works with grilling. I compared against several other thermometers and all within a couple degrees.This unit excels over others on the market because it measures temperature at 5 places along the probe plus ambient temperature, it can handle over 900 degrees F and has the sub-GHz technology. For the price it’s a steal. It’s important to know that for all of these wireless probes you need to insert all the way to the safe line which is 3”. So you won’t be able to use in meat that isn’t at least 3” in some direction or a very thin cut, but honestly anything smaller than that really doesn’t need to be monitored with a thermometer.
