Wish I bought these sooner...So i bought these remotes because I had lost the original remote to my Philips roku tvsometime towards the end of 2024 and was going to just go to Walmart and buy a roku remote however it said something about it might not work correctly with some tvs so I bought a cheap universal brand that I hated because where the back button is the power button so everytime I went to hit back button I ended up powering off tv anyways I came across these looking for a replacement for that one and these looked worth getting and glad I did they were easy to set up compared to other one all I had to do was put batteries in and was immediately able to start using remote without any other steps no pairing like the actual roku remotes... Definitely recommend

I needed to replace my older LG’s (non smart tv) remote control because the buttons were well faded and after taking an epic accidental syrup bath it was time for retirement. For under 10 bucks I wasn’t sure this remote would have my older model TV’s code available, but connectivity wasn’t an issue! So easy to program it worked with the first code I tried. Plus it doesn’t have the buttons that glow in the dark which I love.For kicks I tried to see if it would work for an old hand me down Hello Kitty tv/dvd combo we had in the nursery with a long gone remote control. No real brand name, just a pink and white hello kitty tv, probably bought at target 20 years ago for my formerly Sanrio obsessed sister; The remote had the code!

What was I waiting for?I used a remote with duct tape holding it together for at least a year because I was afraid that using a new remote would result in my having to go through the whole Roku setup again. I was encouraged to buy these by another review that said the same thing - and the user found that the shift was seamless. The same happened to me. I put in two AAA batteries and clicked on "power," and that was it! Everything works as before, and it's nice to hold a duct-tape free remote.

Works great! My tv now turns on and i can finally use it without worry, the spare is also handy just incase something happens. My last TV remote that came with the tv that I've had for years accidentally got thrown into the washer because my old roomate i lived with who offered to throw a loud in the wash didn't think to check and just poured my cloths in it from my hamper, found one half of the remote on one side of the house after being confused and looking for it since it wasn't in my room and the other half in the laundry room.😂😂😂

Great product I bought for my step mother she bought a 5 dollar Blu-ray player from Goodwill and it didn't have the remote and the player was a Sony brand and the first code on the list worked the only thing it didn't come with was batteries which it takes two AAA batteries but it had a great price cheaper than going to a physical store.

Bought this to replace the remote for our Hisense TV that my wife somehow lost. I started trying to program it using the automatic code search, but that didn't work so well. I tried it several times and I would get some buttons work, but not others and it would vary with each try. After that I tried it keying in 4-digit codes and that worked pretty quickly. I should have tried that first, but the codes were printed so small my old eyes had trouble seeing them. The only button that didn't seem to work in the end was the Back (arrow) button. It didn't do anything, but the Exit button seemed to work as an alternate.

If you have kids (or even just prone-to-losing-things adults!), this replacement Roku remote is an absolute essential buy. Having reliable backup Roku remotes is truly a must in our household!These remotes work great right out of the box – there's absolutely no programming or complicated setup involved, which is a huge relief. They function just like the original, including the convenient TV power and volume buttons. I couldn't be happier with this purchase; it provides instant peace of mind and keeps our streaming smooth. Only one annoying flaw compared to other replacement remotes. Had one with side button spacing identical to OEM unit but inferior function durability. This one has good function and feel, but the mute button is 1/4 inch closer to the volume controls than on the original or first replacement units. That, along with slightly higher button sensitivity, results in unintentional muting during handling. Hopefully my ongoing training will improve the user experience!
