Couldn't even get started with it, the dark film has a coat of adhesive in between a clear protection film which the video shows just pulling away very easily (not so). The rear side window on my car is a small triangle (19" x 8") so I thought it would be a breeze for me to do. I even made a paper template to make life easy with the cut out film ready to put on the window inside. So came the part to separate the two films. The video shows using a hot air blower to make the protective skin bubble up so you can get a grip on it. Firstly I tried a hair dryer, but no good, then I put it on a very hot radiator, still no joy, then in a very hot oven, Nope !. Borrowed a paint stripper hot air gun (extremely hot). Immersed it in boiling water, but everything failed to soften the glue. I then resorted to leaving the two skins together spraying the window with soapy water and squeezing out the bubbles. It looked good for 5 minutes until it fell off. Reading reviews other people seem to have used it successfully, so my only conclusion is that the manufacturer must now be using 'Superglue'. My advice would be save your money on this product and put your car into reputable garage and have the job done expertly, and with the boiling water make yourself a cup of tea, sit back, chill out, while someone else has the bother.

I tried to install this on my windows and failed it’s a shame but I just couldn’t manage it to a standard that I was happy to look at so I removed it.It felt like a good quality film and I’m sure with experience this would have been perfect.It came well packaged without any creases.Overall I think this is a good quality item but should be left to someone with a bit of experience.

I couldn't get any good results. The steps makes you feel it's easy while it's not, too may bubbles couldn't remove them, difficult to fit. Realistically I would have better gone to a pro straight away. Worked great on my home windows though. I guess it's worth if the windows are very straight and have a simple shape, or if you are very skilled with your hands.

Some things to consider.If your window has dotted boarders the tint will not adhere to the edges leaving a silver line around your window. If your window is curved you will need a heat gun to shrink wrap the tint.The tint is good enough it looks okay quality. However your success will depend massively on the shape of the windows you're tinting. If its flat with no boarders you'll be fine. If its curved with boarders then it will not give you an OEM look. Disappointing, i recommend giving it a go but it's likely you'll end up going to a professional.It was a good day working on the car but i have a feeling i will be removing it tomorrow.

This is a very dark tint which is great for my application which is to cover a glass shelf on my AV rack and it works fine, I took my time installing using the soapy water method and once I hade squeegeed all the bubbles out it looks pretty good, I did the underside as I didn’t want it to get damaged when sludge the equipment on it.Also make sure to use a really sharp blade when cutting otherwise the blade will snag and tear the material, overall I’m pleased with the results and would recommend, just make sure to get the lighter tint if you are using for car windows.
