WeruvaClassic Cat Stews!, Stew's Clues with Turkey, Chicken & Salmon in Gravy, 2.8oz Can (Pack of 12)

I bought this for my (4) cats since I'm trying to minimize their dry food due to crystals in their bladder. and yes I've got them on a special urinary diet, but they need a break! I withhold dry food all night, but in the morning I give them the Weruva. They love it, and, for my purpose, it does it's job. Then during the day they get their dry food, dinnertime they get liver or other canned food that is low in ash, so it works out for me. Yes, it is very soupy, but that's I need for my cats right now.

My cat likes a lot of gravy but this was too much liquid of a watery consistency and she didn't like it. There was very little meat (food) in it. I'm usually very happy with this brand but not in this case.

My 8 cats all really like this. It comes in small cans and it is a food that is very much like a thick soup or stew. It does have a lot of water content. The kitties eagerly lick it up, and my older cat who is missing quite a few teeth seems to particularly enjoy getting to eat something he doesn't have to chew much.This food has not caused any GI problems in any of my kitties. I have one with irritable bowel syndrome and it has not bothered him. I have another who just pukes from overeating but it has not bothered her.It doesn't stink as bad as a lot of catfood does, but it seems to deliver the taste they like.1 can is enough for a big cat. My smaller cats eat about 1/2 can at a time.

The cats do love this, as gravy is their favorite part of canned foods. It is much more liquid than most, so I use it as a topper for their other foods.
