Disappointed with product and amazon ! Attempted to return by UPS pickup but sat on my porch for 7 days, even after amazon was notified. tracking # was confirmed but UPS never showed up, UPS confirmed, they had no tracking number for pick up. So - amazon web site snafu. Resigned to keeping the curler, even though it was not really what I wanted. I read instructions, plugged it in to charge, NOTHING ! Never heated up, never charged at all, and I tried every USB outlet in my home to charge. So - it's now in the trash can, WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY. AND FREE RETURNS THROUGH AMAZON IS HIGHLY QUESTIONABLE !

I bought this to save on space for international travels.I have long (a little longer than shoulder length) hair and mostly put it back in a pony tail so I use it for my bangs. Every so often I wash my hair (lol) and curl my hair. It does well for the small size.The description says it heats in 3 seconds. It's more like a minute, but that's fine.It only lost its charge one time for me (after being fully charged) but I had a delay before using it once I heated it... Other than that, one charge lasts for curling my whole head of hair.It takes about twice as long as my home curling iron to curl my hair, but the curling rod is about half the size so that makes sense!I wouldn't say that the curling iron holds its charge for 45 minutes, but I think it would hold the charge for curling your hair in one sitting.The silicone (ish?) rod cover is great because if we are headed put, I it over the curling rod and can throw it in a bag and not worry about the heat doing damage to anything in the bag... the xover works.So all in all, it has worked fine for me!

I was out of the country and could not use a regular curling iron. This did everything I needed and recharged with no problems. Probably not good for every day use as the barrel is short but for quick touch ups it’s great

Wouldn’t get hot, only warm after fully charged.

Seems like a great size but does not get hot😒
