Dyson V15s Detect Submarine​ Wet Dry Vacuum, Yellow/Nickel

Did a lot of research on vacuums before buying the v15. Overall - really loving it. A few things to note:Pros:-Fluffy Lazer head works insanely well on hardwoods and illuminates dust that is naked to the visible eye. It's honestly crazy how much it shows.-Light weight and easy to use. Holding down the trigger to vacuum doesn't bother me. I know some others dont prefer that but I personally don't mind.-Suction is insane and as I expected for a Dyson.-Looks good.-Was easy to mount on the wall using the provided hardware.Cons:-This vacuum struggles on rugs. I tried every direction and it won't get it done. The head gets stuck and stops. I only have 3 small rugs so not a big deal for me but something I wanted to call out for others.-Battery life. The battery is perfectly sufficient for my needs so I'm giving it 5 stars, but I likely couldn't clean my entire home in one charge. It does great on hardwoods and shows a 60 minute runtime on the screen. For carpets, it's also very effective (like I said, the suction is insane), but it drains more power on carpets and shows ~20 minutes of runtime. My house is 2,300 sqft and I don't think I could get all of the house in one go. It pulls up more dust and debris than my old corded shark and is overall better at cleaning. However, If you need this to get through a large house in one deep cleaning session, you may want to buy another battery or a different product. The batteries are detachable and easy to swap. I don't know the cost of a battery but just something to consider.Overall - super happy with it and it suits my needs as someone who cleans multiple times a week and can breakup cleaning sessions if I run out of juice.I was not paid for this review :)

This is the best product I’ve ever purchased for cleaning. Powerful, lightweight, easy to empty, easy to switch between accessories. And the green light - just wow! I can see dirt being removed and am so impressed with the suction. I am now using this daily because it’s so convenient and lightweight. I have 2. Kittens and a dog, so daily was. Needed. But I. Never saw the dirt like I do now….Highly recommend this vacuum. Only wish is that the green light was on the carpet attachment (but that works incredibly well)…. 10. Stars if I could give it!

Expensive but the laser dirt finder helps gamify cleaning, and it works while feeling sturdy enough, I also like that it makes the air quality better after cleaning, I had a competitors product that never got the ultra small stuff that causes allergies.

Couple things here, the vacuum is great albeit expensive. The submarine (wet mop) attachment is just okay. If you understand what the actual function is then you will be fine with it. It doesn’t suck anything up but rather dispenses water/detergent and rolls. It’s fine for me because my main use is to do quick cleans on dog prints, etc. Don’t expect it to perform major cleans. If I was to grade the vacuum and attachments, 4.5 stars, minus a half star for price. I would give the submarine attachment 2.5 stars.However, the submarine attachment worked for a max combined time of 60 minutes, or roughly 3 months of use for me. Contacted Dyson support, went through all the troubleshooting and concluded that the submarine head would need to be replaced, free of charge, under warranty. Great. But no submarine heads are in stock, and they don’t know when they will be. Fast forward 4 months and there are still no submarine heads in stock, still don’t know when they will be. The issue I am having, and I have had this before with Dyson, is they DO NOT PRIORITZE THEIR CURRENT CUSTOMERS. The entire package was in stock on day 1 and has remained in stock this whole time. So yes, they are building and selling the submarine heads but only for people that are buying the whole package new. Apparently, it is not conducive to their profit scheme to set some of those units aside as spare parts to supply their CURRENT customers with replacement units. If you look through the reviews, the submarine head breaking early on in its life cycle is a known issue. What has Dyson done to resolve this? Nothing.So, I am left with the option to continue waiting an indefinite period of time or send my whole vacuum system into Dyson and once it is received in the warehouse and verified, they will send out a replacement unit. Sounds like the best case is 3 weeks without a vacuum. I use the vacuum everyday. When asked if they could send the replacement first, and then once received I would return the old unit, I was told this is impossible. They cannot do that. (Well yes they could, they just decided their policy would say they could not). I offered to give my credit card info and if it wasn’t returned in a set amount of time they could charge me until it was. Nope. Impossible.Dyson typically makes a great product, minus the submarine head that seems to have issues left and right. But I have NEVER been satisfied with their support.

Fantastic vacuum cleaner I don’t use all much of the attachments, but I mainly use the one with the laser. It’s really economic to use and effective at cleaning stuff and provides great feedback via the lighting.
