SOLID PURCHASE

I was contemplating other machines around 1k+, the price point on this at 700 was very comfortable and i figured well lets see, seems alright. When this came in i was shocked at the very good packaging, the gantry and the table were seperate although both fully assembled, instructions were crystal clear english, even came with some helpful items during assembly such as spacers for the t slot nuts that slide around and all, and shims for alignment when mounting gantry. anyway, this thing is SOLID, there is literally no play whatsoever in any part of the machine, i jogged around the machine a bit and im setting up some home and probe macros here, but im excited to see this thing rip some cuts, should handle aluminum like a beast and from what i've seen online, it does.UPDATE: great customer service, the power adapter was faulty they offered replacement but I had extra one lying around. Also this thing shreds aluminum. Clean smooth cuts I have a good aluminum single flute running 300mm feed 1mm depth cut, with makita router mod, it can go way faster, I just haven't tested enough to share results but those settings I've tested and I get super clean even pattern professional cuts2ND UPDATE: BOYYYYYYYY this thing rips, love it, shredding aluminum 1mm depth 1000mm feed rate is pretty solid for fast smooth cuts. havent tried steel yet will update later when i try steel, but i made a nice enclosure and all for this thing got the shop vac hooked up with a 3d printed attachment i found on thingyverse that slips right over the makita router, havent had any issues this thing performs well, also i just been using UGS software which i like alot with the x y and z probing and macros

Promising machine, good tech support

Revision to previous reviewAfter initial problems, Arlen patiently walked me through the troubleshooting process and correctly diagnosed the issue - a faulty power supply. The machine is now working as intended, and I am looking forward to learning how to use it. I think the machine itself is worthy of a five-star review.Details provided below keeps it below that. 4.5 stars, but that's not an option is it?Previous reviewThe condensed version – The machine looks and feels very solid and I am confident it will perform well once the bugs are worked out. The nicely-printed color manual is very sketchy and leaves out key details. Whoever prepped the motherboard needs to pay closer attention to what they are doing. The long versionUnpacking and assembly went smoothly enough, but as mentioned, the instructions were sketchy. For instance, it would have been nice if they had mentioned that the two X-axis limit switches could be plugged into either of the two X-axis limit switch sockets (same with the Y and Z limit switches), but no, so I just plugged them in and hoped for the best.Instructions for the driver installation and COM port settings left out a key instruction, namely to connect the machine to the computer and turn it on. Fortunately a quick reference to the need to do that in someone’s unboxing video clued me in. Also, instructions in the manual for how to access the Device Manger were incorrect but I figured it out.Instructions for how to access settings to check the COM port settings were incorrect, leaving me to figure it out on my own.Necessary commands such as Unlock, Home, Zero XY, and Zero Z were represented by icons and not identified specifically. Only by hovering my cursor over the icons was I able to identify them. This was mentioned on the previous page, but an arrow or circle on the picture below the instructions would have been helpful. The instructions under “Make Your First Cut” failed to provide any instructions for mounting the bit. I just did what I made sense and, again, hoped for the best.In the Candle interface, I found I wasn’t able to move the bed (Y-axis). I was able to make sure the motor worked by plugging it into the X-axis socket, but could get no love from the Y-axis socket, so I emailed tech support. The next day I received an email from Arlen telling me to check to see if the driver chip was plugged into the Y1 or Y2 socket. Sure enough, it was in the Y2 socket, so whoever assembled it at the factory was not paying attention. Switching it to the Y1 socket gave me control of all axes. As directly as he got to this solution suggests to me that it is not an uncommon issue.Once positioning the bit and setting the zero point as instructed, I hit the Send button, but got various error messages - Error 9 and serial port errors. The troubleshooting section of the manual covered only 6 issues, so I sent another email to tech support. More to follow I guess. It’s really a shame they spent money printing such a slick, well-photographed, but sketchy and poorly-written manual. I am used to downloading manuals. It seems that it would make more sense for them to use this approach so they can make corrections and updates rather than leaving their clients with this mess. At the very least, they should have had an outsider go through the assembly and use processes to point out the issues, but it looks like the manual was written by someone who does not realize the importance of what he/she was leaving out. This is an entry-level machine, but Anolex assumes the user will be savvy enough figure things out on their own. I have been unable to find any dedicated support forum aside from the 134-member Facebook group. At this time I am waiting to hear back from tech support and am saving the box for return if it comes to that.

It’s a game changer for my 3D printer modifications!

I purchased this CNC router to create modified parts for my 3D printers. I was looking for something powerful yet affordable. The Anolex 3030 pro caught my eye because of the size of the work area and it was rated to cut my aluminum parts. This Router wasn’t hard to put together. The instructions are cool, but if you visit the Anolex YouTube channel, they have step by step instructions on how to put it together. I get obsessed with learning new tools, so I was already about a thousand hours in on tutorials when I received my 3030. It’s been all good so far. I used to order most of my parts from PCBWay, now I’m making my own. I’m already designing my own pcbs and will experiment with that on my 3030 evo pro. I’ll post video in a few weeks

You can make better at home they sells sirquit board that is it

I bought one of this machine screws are not hold the motor to rotate the Y bed because it was bended just made a physically shape of machine soft ware is not for design' or easy resize option . you have to make your design in auto CAd Lt or 2 d softs then import it in candle soft the machine engraving when it’s stuck you have to unplug or switch off like kids primary game in Nokia phone . At the end I want to say it’s good it’s make you a CNC machine designer and You can make in future better then this one now I become CNC mechanic because it’s break a lot .

Great first machine.

The media could not be loaded. Cut aluminum and mild steel with no modifications. Might update when I do stainless.Update:I cut some small parts with stainless, maybe .5 cubic inches of total material removal.I also cut some brackets out of 1018 mild steel in the new pic and video. 2 cubic inches of material removed. 6mm .5mm radius bull nose end mill, ~600mm/min at .25 step over and .75mm step down. I’m using fusion 360 to generate tool paths and the standard grbl post processor. You can also find some other more useful post processors with the .cps file extension that are made to add some functionality for these kind of machines.
