I got the red and tan base, the light is super bright same as the white flash. It's really bright through nvgs, which I like. Very durable, long lasting, waterproof, and fun to use and a cheap alternative to an actual $200 hellstar, Would buy again!!!

Overall it is an okay replica of a real IR strobe, works just fine! I haven't had a chance to use it in wet conditions but for the price I can take that gamble.

This strobe works great. It fits perfectly on the top of my HHV Helmet all three modes work great. Both red light and IR strobe are extremely bright and offer great illumination for making sure you have no blue on blue accidents. Highly recommend. At its price point id say its worth every penny. Make sure when storing you switch the selector to a visible light setting so you can ensure it is off. I left it on IR when storing and hadn't got the on off switch flipped all the way off and the battery was dead when i pulled it out again.

I'm completely satisfied with this light. It has all the functionality of the ones used by paratroopers and halo jumpers and is extraordinarily bright for easy visibility in heavy clouds or at night over 1000 yds apart under a chute. I haven't tested it's ability to hold up in super wet conditions yet but I'm pretty sure it's going to shine there too.

I've been looking for this unit for a long time and seeing it on Amazon was a blessing, wasn't sure about the quality but when I received it I knew it was well put together, thanks.

It’s a decently bright strobe both vis and in ir and is actually pretty durable so far only issue is I ordered a green one and was sent blue but considering 90% of it’s use is in ir it’s ok ig I definitely would buy this over the $200 version as it’s held up just as good as my real hs6

I found the build quality to be decent for a "knock-off" of the real thing. The visible green LEDs are very bright and the white strobe function works well. Looking through a PVS-14, the steady IR light is fairly bright. The IR strobe feature is more of a slow "blink" and not a quick strobe like the visible light. So far, this product seems to do what I intend it to do. It's definitely not a $300 Hel-Star. However, for the price point, it suits my needs just fine. I would recommend this to anyone that needs IFF (Identification Friend or Foe) for airsoft, LARPing, hiking, or whatever.

Honestly, this is a great product and IR works great under Nods. Easy to use and very cheap considering the competitors. 100% recommend.
