TusaPlatina II Hyperdry Transparent

I got this on the recommendation of a colleague for snorkelling in the Indian Ocean. Over the years I have had many snorkels and as we snorkel for relatively long periods I have always suffered from 'snorkel fatigue' where I get a sore mouth to some degree. With the softness of this mouthpiece and the built in flexibility in the tube I didn't get any snorkel fatigue-this is the most comfortable snorkel I have ever had - and I've had quite a few. It also keeps your breath nice and dry, even when diving down. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone who wants to snorkel in comfort for long periods.

Comfortable, great dry valve, easy clip-on-clip-off mechanism. Only downside is you have to fir the clip somewhat permanently onto the mark (it doesn't just slide on), but once it's on the clip is unobtrusive and being able to clip the snorkel to it when needed is great.

Really impressed with this a great upgrade from my previous model.

The mouth pice fit nicely in the mouth and clears very well. It is flexible which is useful for easy storage. It looks great with the mask.

Good light snorkel I have used many times. Fit's well. Good adjustment and it's easy to clear. It's quite flexible so you can roll it up and stow it easily in a backpack when you're traveling.Compared to my Atomic SV2 which was heavy and difficult to clear, this one is night and day better.The retaining clip that attaches to your mask does not have a "cut" to feed the strap through without fully removing the strap from the mask. My mask in particular is very hard to remove the strap from (took me an hour).For snorkelling full time I would still prefer a snorkel without a flexible section as it tires out your jaw.

Il tubo Tusa è il meglio che c'è sul mercato. Ha una valvola speciale che rende facilissimo espellere l'acqua che entra nel tubo. Basta soffiare leggermente e il tubo si svuota. Il materiale è duraturo e si vede. Il prodotto è arrivato nel tempo previsto perfettamente impacchettato. Grazie

TUBA diving, perfect

Prompte Lieferung, einwandfreie Ware, gerne wieder! Einziger Wermutstropfen war die Nachentrichtung der Mehrwertsteuer beim Zoll. Aber dafür habe ich halt einen Schnorchel "vom anderen Ende der Welt" erhalten.

This is an excellent snorkel, but I actually prefer the Tusa Imprex II over this one primarily because of the snorkel keeper. Nevertheless, this is a five star snorkel. It is comfortable in the mouth, provides excellent amount of air for big lungs, and it clears easily. The term "hyperdry" is a bit misleading because the snorkel fills with water when submerging below the surface, unlike other "dry" snorkels. Nevertheless, the snorkel does stay dry while breathing through it at the surface.

This snorkel somehow allows me to feel like I am getting twice as much air as my previous high-quality snorkel. It has a good mouthpiece, drains entering water well through a side channel, and is easy to blow out water after surface dives. I also like that even the solid part of the tube is bendable--useful for tucking in a vest while diving. The corrugated part of the snorkel makes it easy to get comfortable. I recommend it. This is the third purchase of this snorkel for my family--after another person tries it, he gives up on his previous snorkel and gets this.

I love TUSA. This snorkel is another great piece for my diving gear.

Dry and easy to clear. Comfortable in the mouth

A little pricey for what you get, but works perfectly with the highly rated Tusa M1001 FREEDOM HD Scuba Diving Mask.It has a much slimmer and lighter profile then most snorkels due to the patented technology. It is flexible and very easy to travel with.

I love this snorkel line. Comfortable mouth piece and very easy to clear. Never had an issue. Awesome colors too.

Works great. Small mouthpiece is comfortable for us smaller women, keeps water out in the surf. Swivel hinge keeps it out of the way while diving.

My husband has one of these already and he never has trouble clearing. My snorkel was constantly filling with water and I was constantly clearing it. Now I dont have to. Love it.

We just returned from a week of sailing and snorkeling in the British Virgin Islands and the snorkel worked fine. At several of the snorkeling locations the water was a little rough but water didn't get in the tube. It also clears easily after a dive below the surface.
