Repaired my Doc Martens with this perfectly
I bought this as part of some repairs on my Doc Martens 1460's where the rubber seal around the sole had cracked open and the glue in the sole itself was becoming weaker, It got to a point where if I held the sole I could pull it back a fair bit so I needed to get something to fix them up and I saw this recommended.Simply put, this stuff works perfect, I haven't got a 100% seal again but it definitely has kept it in tact. There is a bit of residue from the application which I did with the blade of a boxcutter (So I could fit it in the sole without tearing it open) and got that as deep as I could but some came out on the sides and I couldn't do anything other than smudge it around, nevertheless it has worked and held up now for around one month and I still have loads left in the tube, I've sealed it with what I had but be warned it does not come with one unless it explicitly has been bought with a top.

When you need to fix your shoes.
What I liked was the easy application of the glue, after reading the instructions i punched a small hole with a sharp implement to open the tube. They tube doesn't have a cap to cover the opened tube, so you must use it all on the shoe to be repaired. Don't come back later to use the glue for repair too other shoes, they glue will go off and harden. I Followed the instructions regarding the application of the glue. Put on one layer left it for 15 minutes, then put on another layer of glue down "a liberal amount " and then Let it dry for 9 hours. Shoe fixed, and too prove that they shoes are fixed and durable, I went on a walk with a group of Friends over five miles ten thousand steps four hours. The glue has held up well but that was only once, will see how fare it goes after a dozen or more walks and different conditions then I will give my final conclusions to the quality of the glue it self, too say it's good or bad. Other wise my final verdict is open.

Well stuck.
Used this to stick on new heels from the same supplier. It is excellent. Before I used any glue I removed all traces of the old heels and roughened the surface of the shoe and the heel with 120grit sand paper. The instructions say apply two coats 15 mins apart but after second 15 minutes glue was dry. I applied another coat and almost immediately applied the heel. Held the heel in place with a G clamp and left in a warm place for 12 hours. Have worn them on several occasions and they show no signs of lifting.

No cap or tool provided
Nothing in the description explains this is one-use only because there is no cap which doesn’t make it easy to apply and the instructions state you need to use the ‘roughing tool’ which suggests it should come with one. At the very least mention in the description that you require one of these. Very expensive for something that isn’t actually going to be easy to use.

Don't throw those shoes just yet.
I have a pair of really comfy leather shoes and they were not cheap, so when the soles started getting thin I thought I would give this product a go and I'm glad I did. I saved loads of cash and gave my shoes a new lease of life. Make sure that you follow the instructions and do your shoe repair in a well ventilated room or like me outside. A great buy.
