Used 2-3 times a week for over 7 years and still going strong
After stumbling upon this pan again after buying it in 2013, I saw some of the critical reviews and images and thought I would post some pics of my pan after seven years of abuse.Firstly it is a roasting pan, it is going to get marked and not look brand new after you use it a few times. It has to sit in the oven at the highest temps, get splattered with oils, when the oil is overheated, it turns into a polymer that is insoluble in water, even with soap. Mine gets other pans on top of it when stored, in tossed in the sink with cultyry on top before it is washed up, I have roasted with the rack and directly on the base then used it on the hob to make gravy, baked bread on it, pretty much everything you can do with it, I have done.Oh, top tip: turn the rack thing upside down, place in the tray and cook a pizza on it, letting the heat blow all around the pizza base, with the tray catching any drips of cheese and sauce. And yes, it does have some marks (more than a few) but they are not dirty, the marks are as hard as the pan itself, if i scrubbed and scrubbed with something abrasive then yes I would probably be able to get rid of them, but it would remove the non-stick, look awful and provide no protection at all.It is still non-stick though, and I still use it multiple times a week, and I will for a few more years yet :)

Non-stick coating peeling on second use
I ordered this item on the 19th Dec 2024 for our Christmas roast and it was perfect on first use and cleaned up wonderfully easily. It has been used a second time for a Sunday roast today on 16th of Feb and during the hand washing the non-stick lining is bubbling and flaking off in a number of different places. It is as if the coating is not fully bonded to the under surface. I hate to think that we may have ingested that flaked coating in the cooking juices used for gravy. Really disappointed as the item on first use was ideal.

Solid. Heavy too which is a good sign.
This roasting ring arrived in a box and was packaged well. The clean effort in package design made.me think this is going to be good. Opened up the box and I was not wrong. The double layered non stick is clear to see. The insert rack fits well and will hold my 3kg Gammon joint easily. The external raisable riveted handles look like they'll stand the test of time and the rack has fixed handles for removing the rack. All in all, if the costing holds up which I believe it will, that this is a great purchase for under £20!

Great deep roasting dish
Really like the size and depth of the dish. It’s going to be great to make gravy after roasting meats. Looks super sturdy and hopefully easy to clean as it can be used on a stove top as well as in an oven. Looks like a quality bit of kit.

non stick coating
the size, depth and build quality of this item is good and yes food doesn’t stick to the non stick coating but neither does the coating to the carbon steel underneath! after the first use the non stick coating peeled away from it.(there’s enough pics on here to view of the same thing).im suprised it passed their safety tests etc as its a well known fact that surfaces have to be ‘keyed’ so another coating sticks to what’s underneath and can clearly see the carbon steel surface underneath hasn’t been treated in anyway.im not sending it back as i can’t be arsed with that whole process so will use a layer or two of foil in future, just amazes me they’ve gone through all the process and cost of designing and making it to fall at the last hurdle , they should’ve done the process properly and marketed the product for more money 🤷🏼♂️

Don't buy!
Dreadful. The base is peeling and have only been using it a month. I haven't used any abrasive on it when cleaning. I haven't used it for roasting vegetables. I have roasted chickens on the rack the dish came with. This peeling has obviously only happened because it was in the oven at a max 170 fan heat.
