Just received this product & Love it so far. Paper towels are released as they should be one at a time & tear on edges that should tear with very little effort. Price was very fair & item is very good. Looks good, works good & not expensive. You really couldn’t want more from a product.

My husband was concerned about spending money on a "paper towel holder". Now he is very impressed with "level up". Very attractive, stable on the counter, takes jumbo rolls and really does allow for one handed tearing off of towels. He actually shows people how great it is. Our old one was wood and as with many things, we were used to how to use it and the quirks of having to use two hands. As Boomers, we are amazed at how newer everyday items can be such a great improvement to quality of life! Oh, and l do recommend this! No problem adding a new roll!!

I have purchased several of these for myself and my family members as it works so well! It is nice and heavy so you can pull and tear a paper towel with one hand, which is nice when your other hand is busy.

I have a thing about paper towel holders. I've tried more than I can count on one hand. This is the BEST one! Pull and tear paper towels with one hand and no issues. Very sturdy and heavy base. My one complaint is that I've had to purchase a second one because the roll holder became loose on my first one after 1.5 years of use. I suppose you can't ask for too much more than that from a paper towel holder but I'd have hoped for at least 2 years. I tried to repair it myself but no luck. Aside from that, I love this thing. I'd rather buy multiple over 3-4 years than deal with poorly designed, tipsy, pull 10-towels-at-a-time paper towel holders.

Someone I know had one of these, so I had a chance to try it firsthand before buying one.Likes:Stability – this holder/dispenser is very stable. It’s heavy enough to stay put but not overly heavy. There is a rubber pad on the bottom to keep it from sliding around.Ratcheted – this holder is ratcheted so that if you want just one paper towel, you get one paper towel. But it is not so tight that it keeps you from getting as many as you want either.Tear bar – it has a small tear bar on one side that acts as a place holder for the loose paper towels so that they don’t lie away from the rest of the roll and in the way.Accommodation – this holder will accommodate the larger rolls of paper towels just as well as the regular sized rolls.Loading/unloading – the rolls will slip down onto the holder/dispenser without removing the cap, but you can unscrew the cap if you prefer.Price – the holder/dispenser is reasonably priced, especially for how well it works.Aesthetics – I find the holder/dispenser to be an attractive addition to my countertop.Reputation – this brand is reputable.Durability – this product seems very durable.Dislikes:None so far.Neutral:This is made in China.

I use alot of paper towels; I ordered several. Great look for bathrooms and kitchen. New towel rolls easily slip on and off without needing to remove a top knob. They work as well as a similar holder purchased several years ago from a local store that still works great. One of the newer ones "slides" a bit when a towel is removed but that issue was easily eliminated by added a cheap flat circular jar gripper beneath the stand which can't be seen. There's no more sliding and gripper also adds protection for the holder's bottom if the counter area gets wet.
