Reliable data and charging USB-C to A cable.
I've now purchased a total of four of these Cable Matters USB-C to A cables for both work and myself. I can't believe how many low quality cables are out there, many of which are incompatible for things like external hard drives. This cable is excellent and works with everything. Sure you can use it as just a charging cable, but it's also a wonderful data cable and works great with my WD DUO drive and several microcontrollers. I use it at work as a PC to monitor connector. The cable is a little stiffer and thicker than most and the connectors are durable. If you are looking for a reliable and cost effective cable then this is a great choice.

High bandwidth.
Cable works amazing. I'm able to transfer files to my Sandisk USB NVME at around 350MB/s.

ue this for my mag connection android auto
my phone is finicky with android auto and mag connections. I love the certified 10 connection. this works great

Type-C contact became loose after minimal flexing
The type-C end is long and stiff and puts a lot of torque on the actual contact pins. I now have intermittent connection loss on a 2 week old cable.I'm sure everything meets spec, but it's not durable.

Finally stabilized my Android Auto performance in my vehicle.
This cable finally seated well enough to keep my car's Android Auto data connection stable.Other cables would have data interruption if they felt a stiff breeze near the charging port. I tried three total cables, and this was the only one that I can rely on.

Fixed our issue! Works as intended!
If you have a few photos to transfer from your phone to your pc its a split second and you're done. I had thousands to transfer and it did it faster than I expected.This cable works great, at 10gbps it's not the fastest cable, but I was able to transfer over 10 thousand photos from my phone in under an hour and a half. That's not to say it's the cables fault, it's probably my pc that's at fault, considering it's about 13 years old now.I highly recommend this cable so long as you don't intend to transfer massive files that are terabyte sized. If that's the case, go with a 40gbps plus cable.Best wishes!
