The installation was relatively easy for my Dell XPS 15. It is providing power for about 8 hours, which is better than the 3 hours I was getting with the O.E.M. battery, which may have been defective.

It fits perfectly without any issue. My G7 recognized it just fine with 100 health. Just know that the battery does not come with the cable, so do not throw out the OG cable. Also, be careful with the cover screws. although it has nothing to do with the battery at all, just go easy and slow when opening and closing.I also had an issue with the battery after a couple of months, but their customer service was superb and they took care of it.

Swapped the battery in my G7 7500. Easy swap, had to give the connectors a second to adjust and it was working fine after.

I would include a picture but I'm too lazy to take it apart again. The battery was about 3mm too short for the slot, meaning the screwholes were all misaligned with the spots they were supposed to go in. You could put one screw in and the rest would be wrong, but I ended up forcing it in because I needed a new battery. The cable connecting the battery to the computer, the slot for the cable in the battery was obstructed partially by the edge of the battery, the cable was too fat to fit into the well. I ended up forcing it in again, probably breaking something, it only went in partially and diagonally but I guess it made enough connection. Good news is the battery works, although the life is not stellar by any stretch of the imagination. My trackpad also does not click anymore because the battery pushed it up too high. Too late for a return. Maybe this battery fits the dimensions of another model but it is so far off from this one I have no idea how other people's ones fit.

Looked exactly like the original OEM. Had dell do a service and they wanted like $140 to replace. My only problem was the dell techs had put the case screws back in with an impact driver apparently and i had to get a screw extractor to remove three of them but stripped hole out of one so it no longer holds. Stupid dell.

Just installed the battery, so I cannot comment on battery life or longevity.The battery did arrive as advertised. It came earlier than scheduled.The cable was not included (also stated, but I was not aware of it). All the videos on YouTube on how to replace the battery assume that the cable is already attached to the battery.Moving the cable was a little tricky. I tried searching for how to do it, but I could find no instructions that actually matched the battery. I removed one star due to the lack of an installation video.When removing the cable from the old battery, there is a small loop that you can use to pull the cable up.The trick to install it is to press the connector straight down, do not try to slide it in over the pins. If you press straight down then it is fairly easy to do.It would have been really nice with an installation video that showed how to move the cable.

The battery fits perfectly and works as advertised, it provides +2 hours of battery compared to the 30-40 minutes of the original.The only issue is that the screwdriver to remove the cover screws of the computer is of inferior quality, once I removed two screws it was useless.
