Purchased this once my Dell laptop charger's wiring started to fall apart. I've done my best to keep it in good condition, and it works great for charging my laptop.

Using this with a DELL XPS 15 9500 is perfect. I bought this to be my "burner" charger that is tossed in my backpack to take to class, whilst the name brand stays at home for desk use, plus bump ever forgetting a charger when I need it most. perfect for my needs and I have never had any issues for the year or so I've been using it almost daily. it will make a small noise from the bigger surge protector, unlike the name brand ones, but its okay its not going to explode. It's just how it is - it's not noticeable to those sitting next to you, but it is to you if you grab it and bring it near your face.

Updated review as of 8/11/24: I am submitting an update to my review. I bought this product in April for my Dell XPS 15 laptop. The charge broke a few days ago. The charger started ticking at first and then last Friday it completely stopped charging my laptop and the light would flash on and off as if it kept trying to charge but it never did. I plugged it into every port available on my laptop and i tried multiple outlets. I know it’s not my laptop because i just got a new charger yesterday and it charges just fine with no issues. Very bummed that this charger only lasted about 4 months before breaking. Even though it was cheap, that’s a waste of money to buy a laptop charger that will only last you four months. I looked at the other reviews and there are a few that match up with my situation. Buyer beware. This is great is you just need a charger asap, but it will probably break after a few months. Original review: My original charger that came with my Laptop stopped working so i purchased this one. So far I have not had any issues with this charger. It works great and charges quickly. Perfect replacement charger. The cord is pretty long too.

I have had it for about a month now and it seems to be working great. My OEM charger just suddenly stopped working in the middle of a work day. Of course, I found out when my laptop battery was depleted and I need to plug it in. Needless to say, not only was I looking for a reliable charger, I did not have the luxury to wait for too long. The charger on Dell's website was about twice the price and had an estimated delivery date 2 weeks out. I got this on a next day shipping and it hasn't disappointed yet. p.s - I will keep this review updated in case something changes. Today's date is 16th August 2023. p.p.s - I will change the "Durability" and "For traveling" rating to 5 from 4 after about 6 months.

Lost the charger that came with my laptop so wanted to find a cheap replacement. It fits well and charges the battery slightly slower than the Dell brand one but still very good and you probably wouldn’t even notice the difference. Build quality is okay, I’ve had it for a while and where the wire meets the box is starting to tread up but still works fine.

Very compact charger for anyone looking for a on-the-go travel charger or something you can just leave by the desk. Typically, type c charges are more power efficient and reduce heat to the laptop from the traditional barrel charger. Highly recommend switching picking this one up, especially for the price you can't beat it

I started doing product reviews because it’s so difficult to go through other reviews and really know what you’re buying works when it comes to computer cords you can spend easily up to 70 to 100 and some dollars if you just go to Best Buy or other stores this is worth it this is inexpensive but quality product

Purchased in Aug. 2023. April 2024, the laptop started popping up the windows notification "USB: PC isn't charging" while plugged in. Charging flicker off and on again with even the slightest movement but not all movement. The issue happens when plugged into any of the 4 usb-c ports. It does not happen if the laptop is on a stable surface and there are no vibrations but even walking across the floor (almost imperceptible) can trigger it when laptop is on a desk. I know it's the charger usb cable (continuity) or power converter/charging circuit (manufacturer defect). The message pops up almost entirely when the battery is low and mostly stops somewhere after 70% charged so I suspect the charging circuitry being unable to maintain the highest amp output. If it were a continuity issue in the USB cable, I expect the issue to get worse or at least be more consistent and like would have just stopped working all together by now, as the issue started 3 months ago. Either way, the only fix is buying a new charger (my third). The original charger died 3 year after purchasing the laptop.
