So the rice cooker is the only one I've found with a ceramic inner pot and honestly, it works pretty well. The rice comes out tasting as you would expect of a modern rice cooker and it has all the bells and whistles you'd expect of one too. I think it takes somewhat longer to cook than the newer induction models that you can find, so if cooking speed is important to you, maybe don't go with this. It has a heat retention function that works very well but even without it, the ceramic pot insulates effectively (the rice is still somewhat warm a couple hours after cooking and turning off the rice cooker when kept inside the pot). The rice comes out fairly easily but a bit less so than from a teflon coated aluminum pot (though I doubt this one will scratch). The very bottom bits of rice also are slightly crispier/crunchier/firmer than the stuff at the top depending on what rice and how much water you use, but I think that's supposed to be a feature. The rice cooker also has several other functions for stuff like porridge, clay pot rice, soup, etc., but I haven't bothered to test those out so I can't speak to their effectiveness.

I really got this because it’s the only rice cooker I could find that has a ceramic pot instead of the cheap metal pots inside. I was initially intimidated due to the Chinese characters but it has the English translation on the buttons! The various choices are in English but not immediately obvious you just need to find the brown corresponding words on top of the lit up Chinese characters. I’ve only tried the white rice setting but so far so good! This will be the main setting that I use anyways. It does take a while to warm up and start cooking which will be indicated by the moving lights and once it’s fully warmed up, the white rice option takes about 8 min to cook and then it switches over to the warm setting. I think it’s well worth the money especially because it comes with the clay pot so you don’t have to worry about any toxic metals breaking down into your food!

Over all the rice cooker is excellent! It fits my needs!

Loved using this rice cooker until it just stopped working for no reason. Took it to get repaired and they found no visible issues. Most likely poor quality and life span just quits right after 1 year just to be out of warranty!! I wish that the seller was more available and gave an extension on the warranty but at this point I would need a whole new cooker per the repair shop. Will never buy this brand again!!

Ive had it for several months now. the rice cooks a little wet, but if you leaave it on warm for a few cycles it comes out perfect. The english words do not light up so you have to figure it out and memorize your settings. I love the rice cooked in the creramic pot. I searched high and low and this was the only one I could find. MY biggest problem with it is that the pot lid has such a small handle and it is hard to grip. I am in constand fear the the lid will drop because you can't grip it safely and this is especially hard when it is hot and you want your rice hot. Right?

I love the settings it has. Especially the one with cooking meats. Making it not just for the use of rice cooking.

You will not regret getting this, it’s the best kitchen device I own - my rice comes out PERFECT every damn time.

I wish I knew how to work this because it seemed nice . I returned it and that was extremely easy and got my refund almost instantly
