These sausage are full of duck fat and Han Chinese spices, but the flavor is an experience all capable of trying should buy and try without fail. Introduced to these sausages many, many years ago by a Philippine work associate who shared her lunch with me, bless her heart.The sausage are to be boiled slowly in a small amount of water, until water disappears with reduction in the duck fat. Brown them further without burning, and they are sweet and tasty beyond belief, due to sugar content :)Not available everywhere, outside of ethnic neighborhood stores that sell this product, served with white rice, and your favorite vegetable, or nothing else. You will be glad you tried them, just as I was many, many years ago.A little pricey, but well worth it. Share this secret with your friends, and simply enjoy!

I’ve had Chinese sausages for years from this brand. Recently, I bought this brand from an Asian supermarket and found the quality of the meat very soft and not cut into slices well. Not only that the taste was lacking. I always remember this brand being firm and could be easily sliced into neat slices. So I just thought that the quality went down. One day craving for this sausage, I just did not feel like going to an Asian supermarket due to the distance. So I took a chance when I saw that Amazon carried this brand. I don’t why but this Amazon seller shipped exactly the way these sausages are suppose to be. Tasty and firm! Maybe this is from a batch with better quality control. Will definitely buy from this seller.

Nothing wrong with them, had to give them a try. I chopped them up into small bits and quarters. They have a strong flavor so you don’t need to go crazy, but at the end of the day they were just too sweet for us.

This Chinese sausage ( Lap Xuong Thuong Hang) is nice, and convenient for a quick cooking along with veggies and not too spicey. The taste is unique: I'm getting to enjoying it even more. Thanks. Rev

It's a great product I have bought it several times unfortunately before I realize you could get it for a third of the price at any Chinese grocery store

I've gotten into cooking Chinese foods but these were a disappointment. Just not my cup of tea. A friend loves them so I will give her the unopened PKG. Also, very fatty

I live in a smallish town with no Chinese grocery store. Amazon is the easiest and cheapest way to buy specialty foods. The quality and taste are very good.

It's sweet, it's salty, there's a good bit of fat (flavor), there are spices uncommon to many of us, and I find it totally addictive. Unlike many sausages, Chinese sausage is used more as an ingredient than something you just eat alone, though I do that as well sometimes. Added to fried rice, steamed buns, stir fries, etc. it adds a flavor and texture that I just can't resist. I've tried many brands in the past, but keep coming back to Kam Yen Jan.I love the fact I can buy it on Amazon because there are no places I can purchase it locally where I am. I've purchased it three times from Amazon so far and had no issues whatsoever.For those worried that you are being shipped a raw meat product unrefrigerated, don't worry. It's preserved, and I've never seen it refrigerated in stores. It even says refrigerate after opening on the package.
