I thought it would be a good fit but my laptop will not fit inside this pouch. Also you need to consider the cables going out from both sides of the laptop. My laptop is 15.6 inches and will not fit inside the pouch with or without the cables. The other thing is that this pouch is only good for one side. Because my desk is home made using 5/8 inch plywood and my laptop is under the desk and on top of a retractable shelve the radiation is not going through the top of the desk. I placed this shield under the laptop, so the radiation will not go down into my legs. Because I have this TriField Meter 100XE I was able to see that the shield does work.

I purchased this product and tested it with my EMF reader. It actually does work. My EMF reader was picking up readings from below the laptop prior to placing it on this mat. After placing it on the mat, the reader read 0. So, it does block EMF's, which is great! My only gripe with it that leads me to a 4 star instead of a 5 star is that I wish it was a bit larger. It is able to be opened and used as a laptop case. However, it is so small that I can not fit my charging cable in the case with the laptop. I prefer to be able to transport my cable with my laptop if I am taking the laptop somewhere. I can't do that with this case. So, as a laptop case, it loses 1 star for this. However, it works excellently if you are just seeking a case to block EMF'S. I tested this with my EMF meter and found it does reduce the radiation by a good margin! (I try not to use the computer when it's plugged in to the charger, which increases the radiation by a huge margin. ) I like the case for ease of use and looks as well. Would recommend.

I was really pleased that this emf blocker doubles as a nice light-weight carrying case. I have been using it ever since I purchased it and really enjoy it!
