Works like a charm

My original controller was a handheld unit that I could not find available anywhere after the store where we purchased the recliner said it was discontinued and could not repair it. As this controller was designed to be installed in the recliner it is a little awkward to use. However it works perfectly so that we can continue to use the recliner. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the durability is disappointing. This was the third controller I have purchased, with each one lasting just about a year of daily use. The first two as well as the original controller all had the button controlling the recline function (the one primarily used) fail while the other buttons continue to function.

We were concerned that we would find a universal remote that would work with a chair that has lower back support + headrest controls, in addition to recliner position -- and our recliner was toast. This 7-pin worked!

Replaced the 7 pin switch on my living spaces sofa (couldn't find a direct replacement). I had to pull the cover on the Bluetooth unit to get it through the hole. The biggest pain was notching out for the switch it was wider on the ends. Let's see how long this one lasts.
